“Are you going to get all protective and bitchy if I say your brother’s an idiot?”
“Nope.”
“He’s an idiot.”
“Yep,” Shane said amiably.
“You’re a shitty brother, you’re meant to defend him,” Luke said.
“He’s older than me, he’s supposed to defend me,” Shane pointed out.
“Nuh-uh, works both ways.”
“What would you know, you haven’t got one,” Shane retorted, pocketing the phone. Luke leaned over to kiss his cheek and smile against his skin.
“Come over for nine on Saturday. Anna’s got to take Megan swimming.”
“So?”
“And Dad’s in London for the week.”
Shane ‘ahhed’ in understanding, and grinned. “See? Sex maniac.”
“Just shut your face and enjoy it,” Luke said.
