He knew he was a problem, that he embraced his demonic nature too gladly. He had known they would marry him off soon with the hope his spouse would calm him, coax him back to being more humanto wanting to be more human.
He didn't want to be human. Demons didn't care about all the sorrows and rages that consumed humans. Demons didn't wake crying, calling for someone long lost. Demons did not hate themselves for killing a brother, did not feel themselves dying inside as they held their brother in their arms, did not feel the pain all over again as they watched the body burn.
