A New Life

Suddenly, Lin Che open her eyes and was confronted by another girl, her clothes were white but was covered with blood and what surprises her was her appearance... Look exactly the same as her! The girl smiled and pointed at her body lying lifeless on the ground.

"Hi there! As you can see you and I are already dead... The one you are seeing lying on the ground is 'our' body. Since our soul is only one, I'm going to give you a chance... you'll take over our body now."

Lin Che blinked confused before looking at her and asks. "What nonsense is this? This worlds seems to be hundred of years ago."

The girl just smiled. "Exactly... Lin Che, this is second chance... I tried my best, to change the past... Now it is your turn." The girl said and leaned to Lin Che's forehead closing her eyes and disappearing.

Lin Che opened her mouth to speak, when her head begins to hurt and a bunch of memories came into her head, without a warning. She can hear their voices but all blurry face.

She hold her head with both hands and bit her lips. Lin Che close her eyes painfully and her forehead began to sweat.

"Lin Che you are my daughter, but at least do some housework. Don't think of me being nice, just because my husband said so."

"Once I come back, I will take you with me to travel across the world... that's a promise. Xiao Che."

"That bitch must've been ugly. Why else should I be with you when I'm engage with her. Do not worry much, once we have General Lin's power... we will surely kill them all, my dear."

Lin Che gagged at the last voice's sweetingly coaxing fake voice.

"Reminded me of the future. I've heard enough. The same promise he made twice yet didn't fulfill. Horny playboy bastard!"

She pause and recalled the second mature with a bit of childish male voice. "The voice... I didn't recall nor met someone with a voice like him... There is no denying the first voice was my mom's. But..."

She said to herself scorningly. Lin Che was used to it, being ignore and being unloved. She walked to the dark forest unafraid before stopping. [I got a chance to be reborn... What about Lei?]

A white shiny snowy ball showed out of nowhere and explained.

"The memory is blurry because of some accident of yours. To make the face clearer, you have to met the characters first." Lin Che didn't let it finish cause she screamed. "My god! Who the heck are you?! how to hell can you read my thoughts?"

"Wu... Your past body's disciple. She instructed me to assists you to your mission. Before... she died." Wu said sadly and avoided her stare.

'So she committed a suicide... No doubt of the scar on my left wrist...' She murmured looking at the mark on her left wrist with a stone bracelet. [How beautiful.] She thought smiling before looking at Wu.

"Who gave me this?" She asked raising her left wrist letting Wu to look at it carefully. Wu look at it for a second before invading it faster than a fly. "I... I don't know..."

Lin Che narrowed her eyes suspiciously but changes the subject anyways. "Why am I here anyways? I was too close in battling with that bastard... Don't tell me... to change my past and future."

"You're right and to... find your true love also..." Lin Che froze before laughing in a pissed way. "You must be fricking kidding me, I was betrayed by that so called true love. No way in hell, that will not only me but your life too will be in danger."

Wu rolled his eyes. "No need to be fake. It is simple to tell... "Oh no? True love? No...! I was totally bad at choosing men!" See?" Wu asked. "That easy."

This is Lin Che's turn to roll her eyes. ""That easy." As if you are a love master. I bet you are still single!"

Wu tsked and ignored his sarcasm remark. "Whatever. Just let them pay."

"Make them pay? How many enemies do I have?" Lin Che asked looking sneakily at Wu. "Who knowns..." Wu said blushing in embarrassment. Lin Che saw it and chuckled as she patted Wu's head.

[This little thing is so cute...!] Wu tried to get away from Lin Che's grip and shouted. "Damned you! I'm not your little thing! Wu, that's the name!"

"You really can read my minds?" Lin Che asked frozing. "Of course. You can also read minds. We have the same power... However you cannot read my mind while I can." "Fair enough." Lin Che said smiling.

At General Lin's Resident: Cold Palace

Lin Che stomped her right foot agrily. "Seriously? As the first daughter of General Lin, I was send to cold palace? My old self didn't even fight back? What was I thinking?"

Lin Che look at Wu questioningly. "What exactly happened? I already look at your face. How come the memory that is part of you is still blurry? All I can hear is voices!" Wu chuckled darkly and silently.

[Why should I let you know? My memories with you willl only be clear enough if you already find your true love. Which is impossible judging by your temper.]

"What's on your mind?" She asked, while raising an eyebrow curiously. "Just thnking when will you find your true love when you have such a short temper." Wu said laughing.
