51. Gender exposed 8

After Mo Ling ignored him, Kevin turned and gave his gentlest smile to Xue Lili.

Xue Lili simply lowered her head and followed Mo Ling inside without greeting him.

"Come let's follow them." He wanted to circle his hand around He Xu's shoulder.

But He Xu dodged and walked in after shooting him an indifferent glance.

Kevin scratched his nose after taking his hand back awkwardly.

'Why are kids nowadays grumpy?'

'This combination of three.. won't they be bored to death? How did they become friends in the first place?'

He grumbled helplessly inside and entered the cafeteria. He searched for the cold kid in the crowd and walked over to sit beside him.

But before he could reach there, the girl with round spectacles sat beside the kid silently.

Then the indifferent boy sat opposite them. So Kevin could only sit beside He Xu.

He lifted his head and looked at the girl who's eating calmly with a lowered head.

He could sense her cautiousness and if he isn't wrong she's wary of him. She didn't want him to sit beside Mo Ling.

But this is the first time they met.

Just like him, Mo Ling also saw the unusual behavior of the girl beside her. 

Then she looked at He Xu who's eating calmly.

She couldn't be bothered with these kids. She just picked up a piece of fried spicy meat to eat when she got interrupted by two people.

"You shouldn't eat spicy food."

"Eat this meat. It's less spicy."

Kevin and Xue Lili spoke simultaneously. And the latter placed a small plate of lean meat beside her.

She paused her chopsticks and stared at the plate before looking up to see Kevin's surprised look.

"What do you want?" Her voice was impatient and irritated.

Kevin smiled and showed his white teeth before pushing the lunch he brought before the kid.

"Eat the food inside."

"Brother Mo." Just then Bi Ruixi's loud voice sounded from a distance.

She dragged a chair to sit on the other side of Mo Ling and looked at him with her puppy eyes.

She really resembled a puppy staring at her owner happily.

Mo Ling can feel the helplessness filling her entire body just by looking at these people who surrounded her.

She first took the lunch Kevin brought and made five equal portions of it. Then she placed one each before the four people and took one for herself.

After doing all that she calmly ate her food ignoring the stunned looks of the four.

The four people revealed four different reactions after they got stunned for a moment.

Xue Lili blankly took the portion and started eating.

Bi Ruixi showed a bright smile which lit up her eyes like stars. She was beyond happy at that moment.

He Xu felt complicated inside looking at his portion. He hesitated for a moment and took it before saying his thanks.

Kevin was amused looking at the small portion before him and at the different expressions of the kids.

Mo Ling looked at the girl who's smiling without eating and staring at her.

"Eat."
