Lee held his hand out to Owen who was laying on the ground but Owen ignored the help and stood up wiping his nose with his sleeve.
A little annoyed by Owen's ignorance Lee stood quietly.
Owen looked around the café and saw the commotion they had caused so quickly bowed to Lee and Mr Walsh slightly.
"Thank you for your help."
Then he grabbed the rest of his snacks and left the café.
Mr Walsh quickly caught on and looked at the employee behind the counter.
"You should be ashamed, letting that man beat that poor boy . All of you should be ashamed. "
After he scolded the café full of people he left with Lee trailing behind.
_______
Owen was waiting outside leaning against the brick wall. A small bruise starting to appear under his eye.
Mr Walsh quickly walked to him.
"My boy, I'm sorry that we didn't come sooner. I will hunt that thug down my self and make him regret this action."
Owen waved his hand brushing him off.
"It's fine uncle. Let's just go somewhere else to catch up"
Mr Walsh nodded and bowed slightly. Lee called a limo to take them to a much nicer café.
Mr Walsh pulled Lee aside to speak to him.
"I wish to plant one of your trusted men outside of Owen's new home. To keep an eye on him. He must report everything back to me, directly. How fast can you deliver?"
Lee nodded understanding the assignment.
"As soon as I can make a phone call sir. I well give him your business number."
"No. This is very high priority give him my personal number."
Lee, understandably taken aback, nodded not wanting to question his motives incase of disrespecting him.
________
Owen and Mr Walsh shared a luxury time together catching up in one of the most prestigious and high class restaurants in New Elcom City.
"If memory serves me well, you should be turning 18 anytime next month, correct? "
They had occupied a private booth so that they could speak about their personal affaires with out getting inturupted.
"Yes. That is true."
"Then why would you be put into a foster home this close to you aging out?"
"I'm not quite sure. I do have a theory, perhaps they foster children who have a more promising future but don't realise it, so that they believe the Howels helped them therefore give them everything they desire. Or something like that I guess, or perhaps it's just to reek the benefits of fostering children, money wise."
Mr Walsh nodded his head in agreement.
"Sounds perfectly solid to me, my boy. Speaking of your guardians, If you don't mind I would like to do a background check on them, with your permission of course."
Owen looked at Mr Walsh shocked then let out a small laugh.
"Oh Uncle you reminded me of the favour I wanted to ask you!"
"My boy, there are no favours that I won't be willing to complete for you. Your wish is my command"
Owen smiled "I was going to ask you to check on them and the other children too. But it seems that we had the same idea. I have no objections, so long as you report your findings to me of course"
Mr Walsh nodded, he would never dare to offend Owen and do all that he had asked of him.
"Of course! I would have it no other way."
Just as the two laughed they heard a loud commotion out side.
Owen got up to take a look, being curious and not wanting Mr Walsh to waste his time moving when he didn't need to.
"Nonsense! I booked this booth three months ago! How dare you tell me it's in use!"
