King of Lies

Wo shies face relaxed as he took a moment to gather his thoughts on what he was experiencing in this moment.

He looked around at the mutilated bodies that covered the battlefield feeling slightly sick at the scene with less adrenaline running through his system.

"Where is this place? And why can't anyone else guide me, Albus and the Oversoul…" Wo show began to speak but was cut off.

"They are only pawns to greater forces, they don't even know the depth of the fire they began to walk in." Deiwos spoke.

"But what about truth?" Wo Shie interjected.

Hearing this Deiwos face turned grim, "Truth is the reason all of these people have died today…" he spoke his voice solemn.

"That good for nothing child is like us in being able to see through reality at its core giving him a level of omniscience, but his true title is the king of lies." Deiwos said as he clenched his fist while his aura began to climb causing Wo Shie to feel like he was being pulled into a horrifying dream.

He quickly calmed himself and reigned in his aura, "Unlike what truth may have told you he was not the first but he likes to create his own narratives, first was our great matriarch nothing was born but she couldn't exist alone and from nothing the great black dragon was born and from the two came me chaos and order and in me all things were created.."

"But truth… That fox, he has always been hard to handle, he wears the perfect face in every moment making him the only being it's even hard for me to see through, I should have known…" Deiwos spoke.

And just as Deiwos was speaking a large burst of light came from Wo Shie.

"WOW, I didn't think you'd stoop to slandering me behind my back." an unfamiliar voice came from Wo Shie's mouth followed by laughter.

"So the fragment chooses to show itself, a pity." Deiwos spoke as he waved his hand and Wo Shie began to cry out in pain.

"You damned monster… you don't deserve that throne this is not the only fragment I've placed, this child will die and your legacy will be nothing, my current power in the future you might not even be my match as you are now!" Truth began to shout in rage.

Truth thought this fragment would be able to resist and instead it was almost instant and agonizing destruction with only a wave of the hand.

"Your lies will never be true, you are but a fool trying to change something you did not create." Deiwos spoke as he snapped his fingers and Wo Shie feel to the ground with a loud scream.

He breathed heavily while he began to sweat profusely. "What did you do to me? It burns…" Wo shie asked between his breaths as the extermination of truth was like peeling a leach off of his soul.

"I rid you of the vermin attempting to steal our power, now you can grow without having everything you work for ursurped with the lowest difficulty… now you have this much more of a fighting chance when you return still you will need more guidance, let us not waste anymore time." Deiwos said standing up.

With another wave of his hand all of the pain Wo Shie felt disappeared as he felt like another restriction on himself had been removed and his body had been made new by Deiwos.

Almost instantly the scenery changed as Wo shie and Deiwos stood within a void and all that could be seen in every direction was stars and constellations.

Wo Shie looked around in awe as this sight was entirely new to him, he felt like if he were an infant where he was now would be called the cradle of the universe.

"In all of existence chaos and order rule over all things, creating a balance that without there would be utter destruction until nothing remained causing the cycle to start again."

"You are currently experiencing the past of the existence you currently live in… but I am afraid I won't be able to change the future… there is something only you can achieve there that I always dreamed of. That is why I will give you my guidance." Deiwos spoke his voice solemn as if he was preparing to walk towards his own demise.

After saying this in an instant they disappeared again and reappeared in front of what looked like tiajutu's abode.

Seeing this Wo show was even more shocked the castle looked completly unchanged aside from where it was, there was a lush forest surrounding the castle alongside a thick fog completly impossible to see through as if the castle existed within the eye of a storm.

'How is he bringing us places so quickly?' Wo shie thought to himself before he saw Deiwos walking into the castle breaking his thoughts causing him to quickly follow suit.

"2 of one cannot exist in the same time but since this is from the past it is the original and will not suffer from time or the backlash of the heavens wrath when it seeks to destroy the imbalance that will exist when you return with this abode." Deiwos said as he also reached out above Wo shies head grabbing something that had become invisible.

The glowing silver crown with the black mist it gave off appeared in his hand before he crushed it as though it were nothing.

… Present time

A few hours had passed in the real world where the source energy emitting was abundant on Lork Barak's flying planet.

As soon as Deiwos crushed the illusory crown atop Wo Shie's head the entire planet they were using to travel on shook violently shaking Fu Shen and the others out of their meditation and ruminations.

In that same moment the source energy had become more than 10x more abundance and pure greatly increasing the speed of their cultivation.
