Feixue's Surprise

"Su Feixue, that's a lovely name," Jackson remarked.

"Thank you, so where are we right now?" Su inquired curiously.

"Um..actually, I don't know for sure. I found this place a few days ago and decided to make it my temporary shelter," Jackson boastfully replied, after all, he built a pleasant environment inside the tree, making it minimally livable.

"It's impressive that you did it all by yourself."

Feixue peered at the interior. The atmosphere is very comfortable, all objects are made of wood with some exotic ornaments.

These ornaments were created by Jackson in his free time, when not cultivating or hunting.

Jackson and Feixue chatted for a while, and gradually the two became familiar with each other when suddenly they heard a noise outside.

Feixue tensed up, she assumed it might be her attackers, that would be a problem since she didn't regain her strength yet.

Jackson, seeing her get agitated, tried to calm her down.

"You don't have to be wary, it must be my beasts," he explained.

"Are you a beast tamer?" Feixue questioned in shock, after all, beast tamers are very rare.

Because of this, whenever one appears, he is treated with great respect.

If it was only because they were rare, they would not hold much weight.

But what makes them so respected was their beasts.

A tamer can tame several beasts and usually, they are very powerful, so nobody wants to offend a beast tamer, after all, who wants to fight a bunch of creatures because of a quarrel.

"Yes, they must have gone hunting and are now back," Jackson responded.

"Come on, I'll prepare something to eat," he stated while leading her out.

Since Feixue was awake for a while, she recovered enough energy to walk.

The two then went outside.

They watched the four Goblins drag the body of a beast.

When they saw their master leaving, the goblins were glad, except for the sister who gazed at Su Feixue with hostility.

Of course, it didn't go unnoticed by Su, she couldn't understand why the female goblin was glancing at her with unfriendly eyes, after all, they didn't know each other yet.

Good thing, she doesn't know why otherwise, she probably would have spit out blood.

"You guys brought a very big beast this time. arrange everything. I'll take care of it to make our dinner." Jackson was pleased with the goblins, so he gave them the command to tidy up the place, this would speed up the process.

The goblins were happy to have received an order from their master, so they began rushing, to do as he told them.

Jackson focused on the beast.

He pulled out a silver knife he had purchased from the system, then he slashed the beast's skin with absurd precision.

Gradually, he was removing the flesh from the body of the beast and was placing it on a bench that was next to him.

After a few minutes it was over, now it was time to focus on the meat preparation.

He separated the meat into small files, applied salt and various spices from his homeworld, which he had from the system.

After preparing the meat, he took them to the fire that was prepared by the goblins.

Now they just had to wait for the meat to be ready.

"You're very skilled," Fixue remarked in a surprised tone, who was observing from the side.

What struck her most was Jackson's beasts were goblins, tamed humanoid creatures are very rare, because they have much higher intelligence than ordinary beasts.

Because of this, they do not submit easily.

There have been cases of humanoid beasts that were tamed forcibly, in the end, their masters were killed because in battle these creatures rebelled.

So it's extremely rare to see tamed humanoid beasts, but that doesn't seem to be the case with Jackson, the goblins are delighted to serve him, which left Feixue amazed.

"Thanks for the compliment, but I didn't do anything much, I just did the basics," Jackson responded, happy for the compliment.

Shortly thereafter, a pleasant smell comes out of the fire.

"Come on, it's time to eat."
