I looked down the street and saw my destination, Kyoto Prefectural Todoh High School. The school itself was well maintained, overall it was a good school.

I am now in my third year, I live a relatively good life, I have food to eat, have good parents, have many friends although not too many, and I am quite accomplished in both academic and non-academic fields.

After a few minutes of walking, I arrived at the school entrance. As I exited, I saw several groups of friends going out together to hang out.

I looked up and realized that it was starting to rain. I didn't bring an umbrella since I was in a rush this morning.

I continued walking towards home. Once I reached the crosswalk, I stopped and took off my backpack, then started to take off my jacket to cover myself a bit. However, as I did so, I saw two people in front of me.

One was a rather tall and slender man with black hair that was styled uniquely, and the other was a young girl with brown hair that was styled in a ponytail.

The man was walking a bit ahead of the woman. As I watched them, I saw the girl slip into a puddle. I stopped what I was doing and ran towards her to help her up. I helped her because I was raised as a gentleman.

As I looked at her, I held out my hand, I didn't see any wounds or bleeding, so she should be fine.

As I turned to grab my backpack from where I left it, I heard a rumbling sound from my right, and I realized that we were in the middle of a crosswalk and quickly turned around and pushed her out of the way, it was just a subconscious reaction.

As the loud rumbling sound got closer, I suddenly felt pain, everywhere was in pain.

In the midst of the haze of pain, I realized that I was now lying on the ground, everything hurt.

Before I could figure out what just happened I got another bad feeling, I quickly turned around and saw a fireball shooting towards me, I quickly tried to get out of the way but to no avail, but as it got closer it slowed down before coming to a complete stop in front of me.

That was when I realized I wasn't moving, I was floating in place, I quickly moved past my shock and subconsciously redirected the fireball back the way it came from, I watched as the fireball quickly flew back and saw a half goat half human standing on the ground in the fireball's path.

I watched as the fireball hit the goat half causing an explosion of fire.

I slowly calmed my breathing as I looked towards the fire and realized that the goat half was gone.

I continued to float there for about fifteen minutes before I slowly descended to the ground with my newfound wings.

And isn't it surprising, that I have wings, this confirms the fact that I died and was reborn as something else, man, I can't believe that isekai is real.

As I landed on the floor, I was completely focused on the area around me, I didn't know what attacked me, it could be anything and it might be hiding.

As I scanned the area around me, I noticed something strange around me. I could feel something but it wasn't physically there. What the heck is this?
