Speak about the devil and he shall appear

A giant pithon landed in between the two people who were about to attack.

"Alright Alright. Watching two of you duke it out like men is all fun, but I have seen what I wanted to see. You have glacial ice and explosion energy attributes. Do you want to be my disciple?" She looked at Frances while patting Gaea's head.

"What? Aren't you going to kill me?" Frances was a bit confused because he heard the three people that cornered him shout the word Master."

"Kill you? No, I wouldn't. You might know something, and you have the potential, so why should I? So will you be my disciple?" Tenebrea asked once more.

"Why do you want me to be your disciple? You only just met me." Frances' confusion actually increased.

Well, like I said, you have the potential. I can't explain right now." Tenebrea was rubbing her forehead as she spoke.

"Okay. Why should I be your disciple? So you can kill me?"

"Boy, if I wanted to kill you, you would already be dead." Tenebrea waved her hands, and the forest behind Frances disintegrated into dust. He looked and noticed this attack spanned tens of kilometers; any living being that had been on the premises for several kilometers was no more. A cold sweat dropped from his head, which seemed impossible because he was still in his ice form.

"If you are thinking of the why, then if you become my disciple, then I can promise you that you will be able to defeat this Midas person you were talking about," Tenebrea said unfazed.

"I don't mean offense with what I am about to say, but I don't think even your disciples can beat Midas." He looked at the three people and looked back at Tenebrea.

"Oh? This Midas is that strong. Why do you think so?" She asked clearly, more curious than before.

"The first thing is that he is a one-man army. The second is his teacher. According to Sir Licht, he just woke up after a few millenia, but when he reaches- " Tenebrea did not let him finish talking as she appeared before him in excitement.

"He said he was asleep for a few millenia? Can you describe this Licht person?"

"Umm okay. He had long white hair and a face that makes even women jealous. His eyes are silver and resemble stars." He was going to continue speaking when he saw the excited look on Tenebrea's face.

She stared into the distance, looked back at the five people and beast in her presence, and said, "Speak of the devil, and he shall appear."

"Now I know your name, Licht." She smiled.

So, boy, do you want to be my disciple or not? You might not be able to beat Midas, but I can guarantee you wouldn't lose either." She assured him.

Frances did not understand what she meant by "speak of the devil," but being able to beat Midas meant a lot to him. He knelt down before Tenebrea.

"Frances acknowledges Master"

"Splendid. Okay, let's go welcome our guests." Tenebrea said

They all got on the pithon. Julius was quite an easygoing person and even tried to make jokes with Frances as they were flying in a certain direction. After about 30 seconds, they landed in front of a strange group.

The group also eyed them, and everyone immediately seemed to notice something. Tenebrea was quivering, and the other man's eyes had not left Tenebrea since they had landed. He had his usual signature smile on his face; in fact, it actually seemed bigger. Before anyone could move, Gaea jumped at the man.

"FATHER!!!!"

The group was Licht's group. As they appeared on the Daemon continent, Tenebrea and her group got to them in less than two minutes.

He was pleased to see the lady that he had fought with several thousand years ago now in front of him. She was also clearly excited to see him, but now there was this young green girl who called him father. He did not remember getting it on with a tree, so who was she? He hugged her back, but then looked to the Vampire lady in front of him to clarify.

"She gained sentience from this." She raised up Licht's power fragment.

Oh, I see." He patted her head and asked her with a smile.

"What is your name?"

"Gaea. Mother named me Gaea."

"Mother?" He laughed as he looked at Tenebrea. She had a faint blush on her face, but nothing else. This was the sovereign of vampires; she was not going to be embarrassed about something like that.

"Gaea. That is a pretty name. My naming sense is a bit warped. I might have named you "tree" if it were me" He chuckled

Tenebrea's group doubled over as they heard Licht's comment.

"Really? I wanted to call myself Tree too," She said with shimmering eyes.

'She clearly got his naming sense,' Everyone thought.

Okay, that settles it. We will combine Gaea and Tree, and you will be Gayatri," Licht said.

"Gayatri? I love it, Father!" Licht patted her head once more and then winked at Tenebrea.

He stood up and walked towards Tenebrea with his disciples behind him.

"Hello, I am Licht." He stretched his hands for a shake, and Tenebrea reciprocated.

"I am Tenebrea, The vampire sovereign." Licht laughed as she said her imposing title.

"Well, if we are adding our titles, You can call me Licht, The Demon King." His silver eyes glittered.

She nodded in relief, then passed Licht's fragment to him. He also brought out the fragment he got from the Necromancer Julio and gave it to Tenebrea.

"Let us not absorb them here. We would go to the castle." Tenebrea suggested.

"Sir Licht, we meet again." Frances came forward and bowed before Licht.

"Frances, what a nice surprise, and I see you picked up a special gift on the way here." He laughed.

"Gift?" Frances was confused.

"The emperors' potential. You did not have that when we were together. I see you all have it." He looked at Frances and then at the remainder of Tenebrea's disciples.

"Emperors' potential? I call it conquerors' potential. And all your disciples have it too. Their dark red halo is really bright." Tenebrea complimented them.

"Dark red? I see a golden halo around them all." Licht and Tenebrea, for the first time, were heavily confused.

"I guess we don't really understand this thing. We'd have to ask the old geezer when next we are pummeling him." Licht laughed

"Yes, we do." Tenebrea cracked her hands in excitement.

Master, I know Amphy is big and all, but I don't think she would fit us all." Scarlet reminded.

Oh, don't worry about us. Midas." Licht called.

A green miasma poured out of Midas's body, and a giant green wyvern stood before everyone.

"Soulmancer! I can see why Frances said he is a one-man army."

Midas looked at Frances with a smile. Frances was also excited.

"I see you have gotten far stronger, Midas."

"I can say the same for you. You actually got here before we did. I cannot wait for our next spar," Midas replied to Frances.

Julius and the rest stared at Midas as they remembered what Frances said about them not being able to defeat Midas. They were revved up to face a new rival.

They all got on their respective rides and headed to the castle.
