Third Person Point of View
"He cheated," Chlea painfully told Odette to cut the chase. She then heard Odette gasp from the other line and paused for a bit.
She cleared her throat before speaking. "Are you alright? You must be devastated."
Concealing her tears so as not to make Odette hear her crying, Chlea said. "I think I am getting better. It's not like I am not used to this situation. Dad cheated on Mom before so I am quite used to this." Remembering it was like a knife stabbing her heart endlessly.
Odette sort of choked up with what Chlea just said. Before hanging up, Chlea had something to say for Odette.
"When can we choose my gown for the engagement party?" She casually asked.
