It didn't take long for Remus to hear of Grain's awakening. He was in front of the door to his room in a matter of seconds. As soon as Liana came and told him, he opened a tear and appeared right outside the room.
Giving the door a slight knock, then walking in.
"Grain!" Remus exclaimed.
"Hey Gramps," Grain said in a hoarse voice. "Seems like things didn't go as planned."
Grain raised his one hand and rubbed the back of his head. It was a natural reaction, one that took more energy than it should have.
"I feel pretty weak right now." he continued. "I think my muscles are atrophied or whatever."
Remus sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose.
"Yes they most likely are," Remus replied. "I have a few methods to get you back into shape. Sadly, you'll never regain your limbs or eye."
"I'm so sorry."
A single tear went down Remus' cheek.
It would have been more, but his tear ducts had been overworked in the recent months.
