Chapter 02: Final Showdown

Observing the strange talking egg disappear, the man smiles cheerfully.

Completely battered, he laughs and says: "Hahaha! To think that a mere insect would give me trouble, the Immortal Sword of the 5 Elements. At least I didn't have to use the forbidden technique."

"Now let's take control of this new body." Excited, he sits in a lotus position in the white mental landscape that had been stained with destruction during the battle.

Five spheres of energy of different colors appear, orbiting around him, each representing a different element. Time passes peacefully, and after 10 minutes, the Immortal Sword frowns, dispersing the spheres.

"Weird, I can't take control of this place for myself. Could it be..." Before he could finish speaking to himself, the world trembles.

*BOOM*

"What the hell is this?!" He is knocked to the ground by the earthquake.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

Suddenly, the wind starts to howl to the point it resembles a hurricane, and the white environment begins to darken as if night had suddenly arrived.

*CRACK*

The mental landscape in the Immortal Sword's view seems to turn gray when a crack suddenly appears in the space above him, gradually increasing.

"Damn." Seeing this, he shivers, his survival instinct forged over tens of thousands of years warning him of imminent danger.

With a sweep of his gaze, he quickly finds his sword lying on the ground and makes a desperate leap to grab it.

*BOOM*

As soon as he touches the sword, he quickly assumes a defensive position upon hearing a massive explosion.

*BAM*

"Ugh!" Something large hits him head-on, sending him flying in the opposite direction, causing him to spit blood and creating a crater where he lands.

At the same time, the egg traveling undisturbed through the multiverse begins to crack, and its route abruptly changes with an increase in speed.

"ROOOOOAAAR!!!" From the smoke that enveloped the surroundings, a dragon emerges through a hole in space.

The Western dragon seemed to be the ultimate creature, its scales displaying a strange image of galaxies and stars like a perfect painting of the universe.

Purple and red lines adorned the majestic creature, emerging from the tip of the thick tail, passing through the majestic wings and strong limbs with large claws that seemed to destroy space itself.

The dragon's head was slender on top of a long neck, giving it an appearance to be adored by mortals. Its numerous sharp teeth gave it an intimidating look below two huge pairs of horns.

The larger one pointed forward and branched out, resembling a millennia-old tree, while the smaller pair pointed backward, curving like a screw. The horns shone with a dazzling mix of golden and green light.

"INSOLENT HUMAN! WHO ARE YOU TO TAKE CONTROL OF MY BODY?! ROAAAR!!!" A male voice resembling that of a young adolescent echoed in space.

"So, the creature was a celestial dragon egg?! HAHAHA, YOU'RE WORTH USING THIS TECHNIQUE! THIS IS MY LUCKY DAY!" The excited voice of the Immortal Sword rings out, and with a movement of his arm, the dust raised by the impact disperses, revealing him still battered but with a mysterious aura emitting five colors like a rainbow covering his body, healing him in milliseconds.

From the colorful aura, a golden armor emerges around the man simultaneously with a double-edged sword, adorned with various runes on the blade and an exquisite hilt, appearing in his hand. It emitted a red glow that immediately illuminated the surroundings.

"I, DRACONIUS CELESTRION, WILL TEACH YOU YOUR PLACE!!!" Upon hearing the man's words attempting to steal his body, Draconius immediately swings his massive claw over the human.

"DIE AND GIVE ME YOUR BODY! FLAMING CUT!" Receiving the attack head-on, the Immortal Sword swings his weapon towards the claw while flying upward.

A crimson fire emerges as the runes begin to glow, giving an immortal glow to the surroundings.

*BOOM CRACK*

The impact causes the space to crack along with the ground, and the wind blows in all directions.

"It seems you've already reached the divine level, hahaha! Incredible, with all this potential, I can easily reach the pinnacle!" While the duo engages in a contest of strength, the Immortal Sword is amazed by such power coming from a newborn, and his gaze is blinded by endless greed.

"ROAR!" Without responding and with a roar, Draconius pushes his claw even harder.

*BOOM*

A devastating explosion occurs, raising a huge mushroom-shaped smoke in the distance.

"Holy Harmony!" Making a seal with his hands while floating, the man's colorful aura turns golden.

"Time for the second round!" With a boost in the air, his increased speed makes him seem to teleport in front of the dragon's head.

"WORLD DIVIDER!" The Immortal Sword immediately makes a vertical downward cut, releasing a tearing golden energy that seems capable of cutting an entire planet in half.

Suddenly, in the middle of the attack, sensing an enormous danger upon seeing Draconius's wide-open jaw, revealing a terrifying smile with countless sharp teeth, he quickly repositions the sword in milliseconds and executes another attack.

"WORLD PIERCER" With a piercing motion, an aura that seems able to pierce dimensions is released, joining with the momentum of the previous strike rapidly.

"Destructor Mode: Calamity Breath!" In no time, a large violet energy sphere forms and is released as a massive laser in the direction of the Immortal Sword, causing various cracks in space.

*BOOM*

If the magnitude of the attacks before was large enough to destroy a city, now they could sweep the surface of an entire planet or destroy the planet if directly hit.

"Shit!" Seeing his attack pushed back and almost dissipating, he immediately draws his sword and repeatedly performs the same skills.

*CRACK*

In a few seconds, the two annihilate the space around them, and the mental landscape seems to be at its limit, almost falling apart.

Draconius's crimson red eyes emitted purple and red rays, while the lines adorning his scales and his horns assumed these two colors entirely, emitting an aura of destruction and death uncontrollably.

"ROAR!" With his mouth wide open, Draconius gives a final roar, and the radius of his breath seems to double.

Everything happened in an instant, the countless combined attacks of the Immortal Sword were reduced to nothing, and he was hit head-on, flying along with the large violet light beam.

*ZIIIII* *BOOM*

A loud sharp noise was emitted upon hitting the still-existing ground kilometers away, followed by a gigantic explosion.

The once white and pure ground was now cut by a large ravine bubbling with lava and emitting smoke.

*BOOM*

"I WON'T ACCEPT THIS, YOU WILL PAY!!!" At the end of this ravine, a small explosion occurs, sending white stones flying in all directions, and the Immortal Sword appears. If before he seemed only battered, now it was different.

Different from the immortal and holy appearance he acquired after activating the forbidden technique, half of his face was charred, revealing flesh, muscles, and even teeth. The armor was completely tattered, and on his right shoulder and left ribs, there were severe burns that were oozing blood. The aura around him flickered like a weak candle.

Ignoring the infernal pain in his body and blinded by rage, the Immortal Sword spits blood on the sword, which is ignited with a red aura spreading over his body.

Seeing him reappear, Draconius thinks: 'Finally, I was able to vent, now that I've gotten used to my body, let's try this.'

The dragon's red crimson eyes returned to normal, displaying different colors. The pupils seemed like pearls containing energy that moved, forming a vortex. The right one contained mixed red and violet colors, and the left one had golden and green colors.

"Come on, grandpa, be careful not to trip." The playful voice of a teenager came from the dragon, which now looked at the human with amusement, narrowing its eyes.

"I'VE NEVER SUFFERED SUCH HUMILIATION, DIE ONCE AND FOR ALL!" With just one step, he teleports and strikes in front of Draconius, who watches everything floating in the void left by the clash of the duo's attacks.

"Eternal Mode: Temporal Claw" Suddenly, Draconius's body lines become a mixture of silver and neon blue.

"What's happening?!" Time seemed to stop, to the Immortal Sword's eyes, everything became static, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't continue his attack. He could only look at the mocking smile of the hateful dragon.

Suddenly, he noticed a small movement of the dragon's claw.

A small sound of flesh being cut echoed in his ears, making him think, 'What was that?!'

Suddenly his perspective began to change, as if he were falling, and seeing a tattered body in an attack position he thought:

'This is my body?' That was his last thought as he widened his eyes in disbelief.
