Calm!

Though unlike many, he feared not the gunfire nor the bullets that came with it. Instead, he feared himself and what he would do.

Staying hidden, the man slowly crawled his way deeper into the building. The bullets may penetrate walls, but they would surely not reach that far into the building.

However, he knew he wasn't safe; it was the military. They could enter the building any time they wanted. Knowing this, the man immediately picked up his speed in hopes of creating some distance between himself and them to escape.

"Banner, you know running ain't gonna help you. Just come with me and let's stop this madness."

He heard a voice call out from outside the building. It was a very familiar voice and not one he wanted to hear at the moment.

It was a voice that proved he wasn't far enough, and to prove that, the gunfire resumed.

"Shit!" he shouted as he came to a halt.

Before him was a bridge of sorts, a connection between the two buildings made from super strong materials and supported by the two buildings.

However, it was open, which was a great risk considering his situation.

"I can see you, Banner. Surrender now, and we can stop this!" the voice came again.

"No, you're not going to stop anything. What do you think I am, a child?" Banner replied as he hid himself by the wall.

"Well, in this situation, you are."

"Well, you're the one shooting at a goddamn school. Which one of us is the actual danger?" Banner shouted back.

While he talked, he tried his best to figure out some way to escape. Steeling his heart, he immediately took off running.

With all he could muster, he continued to pick up speed as he ran.

"Fire!"

At those words, hundreds of rounds were instantly fired as Banner braced for injury but still continued forward. There was no time for stopping.

"Argh!" Banner shouted as he fell to the ground in pain.

He had been shot, but he was not bleeding. Rolling on the floor in pain, his veins began popping out, revealing themselves to the world.

However, unlike normal, they were green. The green spread through his body, and his body too grew larger and larger.

"No, no, no!" he screamed, now in a much deeper tone.

"Hulk! Kill!" a loud voice was heard.

"Alright, men, positions and brace yourselves for heavy damage," the general ordered, making all the soldiers prepare themselves for what was to come.

In response, all heard a massive explosion, but there was no fire; rather, they all saw the destruction it caused.

From this, a massive green beast emerged, standing at over eight feet tall and humanoid in nature. The beast ran towards them.

Seeing its charge, the army immediately opened fire as two helicopters provided cover fire, stopping the beast in its tracks but not injuring it otherwise.
