Welcome To Class

The elderly teacher's eyes twinkled with delight as the two newcomers stepped into the classroom. "Oh my goodness, we have two more students joining our class! What a delightful surprise!" she exclaimed, her voice filled with a light chuckle.

Kevin sniffled slightly as he responded, "Yes, thanks to Ayano, we were able to find our way here smoothly. It wasn't much of a hassle at all." He and Sam exchanged a fist bump, a silent affirmation passing between them.

The teacher shifted her gaze to Ayano, her expression brimming with admiration. "You can always rely on Ayano, you know. She may be a fierce and formidable fighter, but underneath it all, she has a kind heart," she said, her voice soft and filled with admiration.

Ayano responded with a sweet and disarming smile. "I just enjoy helping people, especially newcomers," she replied, casually shrugging her shoulders as she gently tapped Kevin's arm.

Kevin attempted to return the smile, although Leon could see a hint of uncertainty in his eyes. It was evident that he was trying his best to go along with Ayano's facade, even if he didn't fully believe it himself.

The teacher continued in a soothing tone, guiding the boys to stand alongside Leon at the front of the class. Leon, observing the interaction, couldn't shake off a growing sense of unease. His instincts told him that there was more to Ayano's intentions than met the eye.

The lady teacher ushered them inside, guiding them to find a seat. Kevin's senses heightened as he observed the classroom, his eyes scanning the room to take in the presence of the new student, Leon. Leon seemed unusually quiet, emitting an aura that warned others not to provoke him. With just a glance into his eyes, one could sense his strength and the message that he was not to be messed with.

Sam walked alongside Kevin, holding his hand, as they made their way to a row of seats. Among the other students, they noticed unfamiliar faces and a group of rowdy boys who pretended to throw punches at Kevin, causing him to flinch in fear. It turned out to be a playful taunt, a mere trolling attempt. The jocks erupted into laughter, clapping hands with each other, reveling in their little prank.

"Look at this little girl, we're gonna have some fun with you later," they sneered, their words rough and disrespectful. They pushed Kevin against the wall, leaving some of the classmates gasping in shock. Sam quickly placed a reassuring hand on Kevin's shoulder, checking if he was alright. Kevin nodded, waving off the dust and wrinkles on his clothes. The catcalls, whistles, and shrill noises from the others indicated that the nerd fighters wanted them to join their group and take their assigned seats.

With a deep breath, Sam and Kevin made their way down the aisle, weaving through the rows of desks as the other students chuckled and whispered under their breath.

Just as they were about to settle into their seats, a sudden movement caught Aaron's attention. A knife, gleaming menacingly in the air, flew at an astonishing speed, striking the bully, Alexander, and pinning him against the wall, his chair crashing to the floor.

The class erupted into gasps and shocked murmurs, all eyes turning towards Ayano, who stood there with a smug smirk on her face. "What the hell?" Mr. Sanchez, the teacher, exclaimed, rushing over to Hyeokjin's side, his brow furrowed with concern as he carefully removed the knife from the wall.

Ayano's expression shifted, feigning worry as she addressed the teacher. "Oh my goodness, Mr. Sanchez, who could have done such a terrible thing in the middle of class?" Her eyes sparkled with a hint of malice.

The teacher let out a heavy sigh, guiding the shaken Alexander to a seat before addressing the class. "I don't know, Ayano," he said wearily. "Strange as it may be, let's continue with the class. I'll take over until the homeroom teacher returns."

Ayano shot one last mocking glance at Hyeokjin before sauntering out of the room, leaving the bewildered students to process the startling turn of events.
