"While I would like to end this match as quick as possible but the lady demands a show," Masuta entered a combat stance as his uniform began sparkling. His clothes took on a similar deep crimson hue as the fibers began splitting, stretching, and tightening around his wrists and legs. "I sincerely hope this doesn't last long for your sake," Masuta rushed forward with inhuman speed quickly closing the gap between him and his target.

Kashi naturally brought up his arms to defend, but that wasn't fast enough to block the flurry of coordinated strikes being sent his way.

"Let's see how many of my punches you can block with that pitiful guard." Everyone in the crowd watched as Masuta continued his rush until gruesome purple-red bruises decorated the surface of Kashi's arms. 'His fists feel like hammers; I won't be able to keep this up for long.' These were Kashi's only thoughts as he struggled to keep track of Masuta's hands.

"I could really use some assistance little wolf," Kashi called out to his recently acquired companion as Masuta delivered a powerful strike to his chest. The small white wolf was currently fast asleep enjoying the feeling of having her head stroked by a nervous Mako. Kashi instantly felt his body grow cold as a string of familiar blue beads appeared around his neck. His eyes had become a pale blue, and the bruises on his arms began to frost over as Kashi formed a thick shield of dark-blue ice. Mako looked down at the dog in her arms with sparkling eyes, "magic puppy!"

Kashi was caught off guard by the sudden influx of information, but this didn't stop him from sending Masuta flying backward with a blast of cold air. The sudden pushback caused Satsuki who saw how one-sided the fight initially was to look at Kashi curiously. 'Did that newcomer just overpower a two-star captain?'

"I kept my guard up, now it's your turn to defend." Kashi then began a rapid-fire assault on his opponent, sending shard of ice after shard of ice. "I don't think so," the wrapping on Masuta's arms began to glow as he caught an incoming shard crushing it in his hand. "I do," Kashi smiled while as the beads disappeared being replaced by a shield covered in flames that rested on Kashi's left arm.

Ryuko by this point was just starting to dig herself from the pillar when a volley of boxing gloves came flying at her. She considered trying to dodge the attack, but the initial impact with the pillar did a number on her right leg which pretty much cut whatever speed she had in half. "There's no way I can endure another one of those hits without taking major damage." Ryuko closed her eyes and held her blade up, ready to deflect the massive number of projectiles, but the impact never came.

Ryuko opened her eyes half-expecting to still see the gloves flying at her but all she saw was a spinning circle of flame. "You owe me one now," Kashi yelled as held up a similar flaming circle to block an incoming punch.

(Fast forward because I'm god and because I got stuck while writing the fight scene. :P )

Both Kashi and Ryuko were on their last legs. The battle started to take a turn when Kashi started using his sacred weapons but in the end, his inexperience in combat proved to be his downfall when Masuta began taking the battle seriously.

The battle between Ryuko and Fukuroda ended similarly. After his attack was interrupted Fukuroda went into a blind fury launching attack after attack at an already injured Ryuko. The events after this are the same as in the original show except Kashi was also sent flying off academy grounds.

The scene will pick up in the laboratory basement.
