Chapter 15

Colin helps the group through the portal and is the last one to leave the bunker.

The portal opens outside in the parking lot. Kevin stands next to Colin after he comes back since he was the last to leave.

Trusting these people is still up for deliberation, they are all outside for security reasons.

Toya and his group go outside to try and help, but the ones watching the monitors stay there.

Chronos watches as the building that Murasaki generation one just escaped from explodes taking down a good number of infected that gathered in the house ready for the shield to falter or hunger to get them first.

He was wondering why Rin and her father were tagging along for a rescue mission. He feels like he just learned a very big life lesson from watching how they executed the rescue.

The infected cry out in agony feeling the death of the large number of their own. They are heard all over the country, some people getting time to escape diar situations where they could have been otherwise bitten or eating alive by Infected animals.

More talk about the Murasaki spreads.

Chronos points at the monitor, "People are making their way here, what will we do?" He asks Mira through her phone Comms.

"Lie, tell them Infected are coming this way due to the migration of people this side. It's not safe if they do that, that's what Will happen." She says walking back to join the meeting about what to do with the crowd of people here.

Chronos does as instructed and turns off his Comms. He wants to see what's happening outside.

Colin introduces Murasaki generation three to everyone, "They are the ones in charge here."

A bitter looking old man comments, "They're just children."

Jet opens a portal leaving the man outside the shield but inside the nano wall, but the old man doesn't know that, "Your lives are in the Children's hands, follow the rules and respect us, you can stay, piss us off, you can go fend for yourself outside." He brings the man in and asks Luna to set up camp for them outside.

Luna nods and asks Rex and Toya for help since they can copy her power and help around.

Colin divides everyone into 3 camps while Mira uses her power to decide who is useful inside.

A boy named Split is chosen to work with Dodge inside on the Comms. Chronos escorts him so he can show him how it works and what to do.

Once the camp is set up the twins open portals group by group for everyone to take a shower.

Colin and his group are in charge of guarding and protecting the supplies rooms.

"Finally something to do." Kai comments smiling.

The women are cooking food and sharing it accordingly. It was decided cooking will be done outside too.

Colin looks at his dad not even saying a word.

"Your son looks so much like you. I was afraid you wouldn't have any children." The old man says.

"Huh!" He responds with nothing to say.

"Dad!" Toya calls quick walking the hallway.

"In here." Colin responds walking towards the door. He opens it and blocks the way for his father to not see Toya.

"Mom says to relay the message that food is ready. Everyone must hurry downstairs." Toya says and runs around to the guards, "It's time to eat."

The guards joins the others holding guns keeping watch at the sky and around the shield.

Aira is flying up checking from an aerial view what is happening.

Toya's father joins his people enjoying a meal of pressure cooker rice with gravy.

"Wow, when was the last time we ate food like this?"

"I have never."

Aira lands and talks to Toya and Rex a distance away from the refugees.

Toya takes out a Comms phone and shortly after speaking to it Rin is portaled to the malls parking lot and they run out carrying weapons.

They stumble upon a group of infected wearing masks, Aira already warned them of that.

Rin touches the ground spreading her explosive coat using it to trap the infected's feet to the ground.

She detonates the coat with her combustion eyes before jumping through Jet's portal.

Everyone listens and again the infected wail in agony.

"They basically came for war, they were targeting us." Jet says to his brother Jake who was protecting Aira, who is only 10 years old.

"You blew up 23 out of an army of 200. Try harder." Dodge says through her Comms phone in the observation room.

"You can see better from up there, and dropping bombs from above should scare them off." Aira says.

Mira's eyes glow purple.

Lily's mother gasps from a distance, "My Grand baby." She points at Mira.

Mira warns the group it will only work 3 times before the humanoid infected of this group comes after them and throws the bomb back through the portal it was sent from.

They tie up huge boulders covered in Rin's purple explosive coat and attaching a lit firework to it. They throw it down and as an unexpected shot from above it blows up wiping out a good number of the infected.

"Better." Dodge reports.

"Definitely better." Split comments.
