Lorelia's cold scowl froze the head butler from immense fear, as he realized the fatal mistake Barnes had committed already before he arrived here. He rolled his anxious gaze down on him but saw Barnes was only gawking at Aiden, hugging his unconscious body tighter, compressing the ice on his scars with tears streaming down his eyes.
Just from one glance, Rick understood Barnes's heart was breaking to watch his beloved Aiden in such pain…and it was natural to feel rage towards the person who hurt their loved ones.
