"Billy Bones" or 'Billy the Bone Crusher', had been a pirate dog since his pup.
His mentor, that old salt "Bad Dog Broderie" a Giant Schnauzer, taught him all pirate tricks one can know.
The ship, 'The Kernel' was given to Billy Bones by Bad Dog Broderie.
Billy Bones had sailed the Kernel ship since four dog years ago, and he made quite a seasoned swaggering swashbuckler on the doggy dog high seas!
But after that night them Navy Dogs came calling at the gates of Port Royal, Billy the Bone Crusher has been on the pound, for two dog years.
Billy Bones and all his remaining pirate crew were in jail at Port Royal for piracy, and his crewdogs were some hard roughneck sailors, and their names and tags were:
Billy Bones, a Jack Chi, the Captain.
Teddy the Bull, a Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, the Quartermaster (or Skipper).
Silas Manner, a German Pinscher, the Bosun.
Aluka, an English Setter, the Navigator.
And, Doja, a Rat Terrier, a deckhand.
