Hello my dear readers, this is me, DreamerMind.
I've been absent in regards to dropping chapters this past few months because of the tight schedule of being a college student, which I think, some of you are experiencing right now. The stress and other things that college life is bringing us.
Anyway, let me get straight to the reason for this update I'm gonna do.
The lack of motivation. I am not that motivated anymore in writing, which causes my dedication is writing 3 chapters per day to slowly dwindle. At first, I was only writing for fun and before, I wasn't planning on stopping. However, I slowly began to realize that writing non-stop everyday just to create 3-5 chapters per day is not that good, and to be honest, one chapter wouldn't be good enough for my readers everyday since I also know of being left bitter on the lack of updates by other book I've read. So, I promised to myself that, I have to atleast create 2 chapters per day and drop it after was perfect in my eyes.
Another reason for me not updating so much, is because of the stress I'm feeling regarding my financial situation. Right now, if I can't pay my mid-term fees, I may not be able to participate in the school's mid-term examination. I'm an orphan, I know that it may sound cliche, but I really am an orphan here in the Philippines under the protection of Angelle's Church, which means, no one is supporting me financially except myself.
In the midst of my stressed state, I remembered this platform and remembered the enjoyment of writing content for my readers, seeing all of your comments and how it was a good read for all of you made me better.
Then, I thought to myself, I saw other content creators, even though they are only creating fan-fictions, they earned quite a bit of money, and some big authors, like Cornbringer and the likes earned more than enough for my tuition fees. Which made me ponder more and came to a conclusion that, I can do it too. There's a small possibility of me failing, but if I can be consistent with creating and dropping the contents of my work, I may be able to do it.
Killing two birds with one stone, since I would be having fun interacting and writting, I may also be able to earn a steady income mostly for my tuition and a little bit for myself.
So I ask of you this, my dear readers. If I set up a patreon and have 30+ chapters there, which contain at least 2.5k words-4.5k words per chapter, would you be supporting me in my adventure as an Author and as an Independent newly grown adult in exchange for 10$?
That's all for now, thanks for reading this.
