Catching my first Pokémon is important. One's starter could be anything and will always be important to oneself. Since Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur are royal Pokémon, no random kid could just get one like their toys. A normal starter Pokémon would be a caterpie or rattata.
When an ordinary trainer acquires a Pokémon, they will have to train it, which will require resources to help their growth, and poke food and potions will be needed for their diet.
All that means one thing, and that is that if you don't have the financial support, you won't get pretty far to being a strong trainer without money.
Alright, it's time to enter the Viridian Forest." Remembering to bring a map, I looked at where the green safe zone areas are while seeing where the red danger zones are. Going deep into the forest means stronger Pokémon, while the outside is safer. Not wanting to risk my life, I decided to go to the safe zone. Looking around, I saw different aura colored Pokémon. Somehow, I knew what color was stronger, like it was programmed into my head, which felt really weird. The aura colors ranged from weak to strong, starting with red, silver, emerald, diamond, and black, with certain colors being light to dark to see how powerful they were.
Walking around, I saw Pokémon like caterpies and weedles with a red aura around them, showing that they were weak; there were even spearows flying around looking for bug Pokémon to prey on.
After what had been hours of looking for a Pokémon with a silver rank, none had shown up, which was making me decide if I should go deeper into the forest and risk my life. Not wanting to go through with it, I decided to take the loss and head back to the orphanage.
When walking out of the forest, I heard a scream and a swarm of beedrill noises. I looked behind me to see two boys running as fast as they could from the swarm of Pokémon, not wanting to be a part of the chase. I hid behind some trees, waiting for them to pass.
While waiting for the swarm to pass, I caught a glimpse of a boy with a red cap and a pikachu on his shoulder. Only one thing came to mind: Ash Ketchum, the future champion of the Master 8.
Once the Ash Ketchum and what I can assume was the bug samurai trainer had passed with the beedrill, I got out of the tree, but just then I saw a weedle aura that had monstrous talent appear crawling around with emerald talent, and what's more, it had Ha.
Trying to be quiet and sneak up on the weedle, I got my ultra ball out and got ready to aim. Holding my breath and focusing on this shot, I threw the ultra-ball straight at the weedle, hitting it right on its tail. I saw a flashing red light showing the weedle getting trapped, and now I have to wait to see if the capture is successful.
After 3 bumps of waiting for the final 1 in suspense, it had finally gone for a 4th bump, meaning I had caught the Pokémon.
The information had appeared in my right eye.
