RISE!

In the next few days, Ash rarely interacts with the ladies well except for Serena who keeps on visiting him while he was training with his pokemon.

"Ash, have a rest I brought you some food." Serena who was wearing a pink floral dress arrived carrying a tray of cookies and juice.

Ash opened his eyes and glanced at Serena, he sighed and thought 'This girl is really tenacious, she is even the one who kissed me when I left Kalos. I really can't cast her away like that.'

He then stood up and approached Serena with his naked torso covered with sweat, "Come and sit beside me, Serena."

Serena smiled sweetly and gave Ash a towel, "Here, wipe yourself first you are all sweaty and I can feel the heat coming from your body."

Ash took the towel and wiped himself first then sat down on the table beside Serena.

"Ash, the pokemon league will officially start tomorrow," Serena said while biting a cookie.

Nodding his head, Ash continued eating the cookies Serena brought and replied after drinking some juice, "It really doesn't matter, I only joined Sinnoh League to warm up my pokemon because our goal is the Kanto League."

Serena looked at Ash in confusion and said, "Kanto? didn't you know that there won't be any league for 2 years because all of the regions are preparing for the upcoming Champions League?"

"Huh?" Ash choked on his cookie then hurriedly drank some juice, he turned his attention to Serena and asked, "Champions League? what is that? I haven't even heard of it in my stay on Kanto this past month."

Serena arranged her sit and explained, "Champions League, it is the ultimate pokemon tournament that is being hosted by the 6 regions Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, and Kalos. all of the past pokemon league champions will compete against each other in their own region that is called "regional tournament" and the top 4 trainers will be qualified for a spot for the Champions League.

Ash rubbed his glabella and asked, "So to be able to participate in the regional tournament I first need to win a pokemon league am I right?"

"That is right, and because of that this upcoming Sinnoh League is the most intense amongst them all because Lily of Valley the Conference is the last pokemon league in the 6 regions before they start the regional tournament," Serena said both excited and worried that Ash will be facing a lot of strong pokemon trainers than his previous pokemon leagues.

"HAHAHA HAHAHA!" Ash started laughing loudly shocking Serena who was beside him.

"This is the best! all of my previous losses in those regions will be redeemed on this final pokemon league, this really made my life much easier." He then stood up and called his pokemon making them gather around him.

Scanning each of his pokemon Ash smiled and said, "This upcoming pokemon league is the most important tournament we will ever compete so I hope that you won't slack off and give it your all in every match we will be having."

*ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!*

Charizard, Infernape, Garcomp, Sceptile, Alakazam, Samurott, and Bayleef all roared making the earth tremble.

Serena looked at them and teared up because yesterday she finally knew what really happened and was sad to know how awful Ash must've felt when his pokemons left him, but now seeing these 7 strong-willed pokemon standing in front of Ash she knew that everything will be fine and becoming a pokemon league champion isn't just a pipe dream.

"Boss! the Madam told me to inform you that they will be going ahead of you and will meet you in the opening ceremony," Meowth reported.

Ash who just finished taking a shower replied, "That's fine but tell Jessie and James to follow them and keep them safe."

"Understood, Boss" Meowth bowed at the door and left informing Jessie and James about their task.

A few minutes later Ash exited his room, he now wore a grey undershirt with a black jacket paired with black pants with seven shining pokeballs strapped around his waist.

Meowth who was outside waiting praised Ash for his looks and followed closely behind him as they make their way towards the open stadium where the opening ceremony will be taking place.

The ladies who left the house early finally arrived at the open stadium and saw many trainers converging on the open field with a huge stadium in front of them.

"Let's find a seat, I think that the ceremony is finally starting," May said while looking for any vacant seats.

Delia had a worried look on her face and said, "Is Ash already here? maybe he will be late on the opening ceremony."

Serena smiled and comforted Delia, "Mrs. Ketchum, It is okay to miss the opening ceremony because they will just announce the tournament rules and the tournament brackets."

As Serena finished speaking the open stadium slowly closed its roof making the entire pitch black, Serena held onto Delia's hands worried that she will fall.

"Madam, we finally found a seat over there please follow us closely." James approached the group and informed Delia's group.

"Thank you, James" Delia said and followed behind James.

The band continued their song while Ash who just arrived at the entrance felt his blood boil when he heard the lyrics ¶Prove yourself and RISE!

"Heh, what a fitting song for the opening ceremony every trainer will surely be pumped after this," Ash said and entered the stadium, he made his way towards the crowd of trainer and looked at the stage.

¶Visions pray that one false step lead the end, so-

*Swoosh!* the back stadium split apart and 3 silhouettes could be seen on the stage, the lights focused onto them while the song continued even louder.

Ash stared at the 3 individuals who appeared on stage with clenched fist he and said, "Tobias, Cynthia, and Alan to think that you will make your appearance here."

¶They will remember you RISEEEEEE!!!!

As soon the song finished Tobias stepped forward and said, "For the trainers that are here right now, keep on climbing until one day you will reach our place and RISE!"

Cheers erupted, all of the trainers were pumped up and ready for battle they were all clenching their fists all wanting to RISE and become a pokemon league champion just like the 3 people on stage.

Ash raised his head and stared at his old rivals, "Don't worry because my time has finally come," he then turned around and left leaving the stadium.
