Early next morning Ash exited his cave and saw the rest of his pokemon sleeping at the entrance, sensing their Master's presence the pokemons woke up immediately and formed a crescent line in front of him.
Glancing at his remaining pokemon Ash said, "Yesterday's event may have shocked you but that is my final decision, those who want to quit will also be released because I will be solely focusing on the pokemons that are determined to be the strongest. releasing them was the best choice for both parties involved they can enjoy their freedom and not be tangled with me anymore."
Ash then continued, "If you want to also quit then I will give you the final chance to do so, remember that from now on the training will be doubled and the intensity will be greatly enhanced so be sure you know what you are signing up for."
He waited for a whole ten minutes and saw that no one stepped up meaning that all of them agreed on having double the training.
"Okay, the first thing we will be doing is 2 hours of running with weights on our back, but as I said earlier we will be doubling our training so we will be running for 4 hours with double the weight, Let's Go!" Ash instructed and carried two boulders on his back and started leading the group.
The group continued doing their 5 year-long training until the fateful day arrived.
The pokemon just finished doing their mock battles against each other and were all laying down on the ground clearly exhausted.
In the darkness of the night, a group of 11 pokemon were huddled together talking with hushed voices.
"Where is Pikachu?" Bulbasaur asked.
Buizel shrugged and said, "He told me that he will be seeing Bayleef first then with go here straight away."
"Guys, is leaving like this alright?" Leavanny asked in a worried tone.
Torterra sighed and replied, "What choice do we have left? Master is clearly possessed and won't even give us a day of rest, Pikachu already talked to him time and time again but he is really stubborn and won't listen to any of his suggestions."
"But leaving Master behind without even saying goodbye makes me feel bad," Leavanny said lowering her head.
In the opposite direction of the group, Pikachu was currently talking with Bayleef.
"What?! what's going on Pikachu? why are you guys leaving and you out of all pokemon is the one bringing them away?!" Bayleef said in an aggressive voice.
Pikachu sighed and tried to defend himself, "Bayleef, Master is not the same Master I followed on the very first day of our journey, to me he is completely foreign right now. for 2 years I tried to reason him that what he is doing will be counterproductive and will make the rest of the group leave as well."
Bayleef snorted and said turning around, "Do what you want Pikachu but me and the others will be sticking with Master until the very end! I didn't think that you who have been with Master from day 1 will choose to abandon him like this. get the fck out and don't ever show your face ever again!"
Pikachu lowered his head and slowly approached the 11 pokemon who were waiting for him, after uniting with the group he took a last glance towards his Master's direction and turned around leading the pokemon behind him.
Unknown to the group that left, Ash along with Charizard, Infernape, Dewott, Gabite, Sceptile, and the newly arrived Bayleef were looking at their fleeing figure that was shrouded by the night.
Ash then turned around and said in a cold voice, "Let's return now, I hope that this will be the final batch of pokemon that will be leaving."
The group nodded with savagery written all over their face, Bayleef tried to approach Ash and comfort him but the latter didn't even react to her touch and went back inside his abode.
"Those traitors!! to think they have the gall to abandon Master like they didn't have any connection towards him!! ARGHHHHHHH!!!" Charizard raged smashing the ground with his tears staining the ground.
Sceptile arranged his toothpick and jumped on top of a tree and laid down with Dewott following behind him.
Infernape flames were blazing at the moment he was trying to control his temper and not explode, Gabite, on the other hand, was still staring in the direction of Pikachu's group, and no one knows what he is thinking about.
Bayleef was biting her lips trying to fight the tears from falling, she really didn't expect this to happen and could only think how deeply hurt her Master must be feeling right now.
Ash entered his cave and sat crossed legged immediately started his meditation but if you look closely his hands weren't opened but were clenched tightly with blood seeping out at the sides.
