Let the carnival of terror begin

On the top Deck Yellow and Tempest were battling some grunts that were trying to take some People's Pokemon, Tempest used her Electivire to fight the Pokemon and Yellow used Kitty to Sleep Powder the Grunts then wrap them in some web, and Pikachu wasn't letting anyone sneak up on them.

On their east Brock had Kabutops fight while Gary was off to the side with Wartortle.

"Why would they try to take over the S.S. Anne?" Brock asked as Kabutops was battling hordes of Zubats.

"Why wouldn't they, this ship has powerful trainers for Pokemon, and rich people they can ransom, the question is why would they if they knew about the Elite 4," Tempest said in a serious tone which surprised everyone but they didn't say anything.

"Maybe they thought you would be pushovers," Gary suggested.

"No if they know about us they would know about Dad and Janine, along with Ms. Lorelei, they must be here for something else," Tempest said as Electivire sent a thunderbolt at a group of Rattata.

"We can think about that later," Gary said holding back a group of Grunts, "For now we need to focus on not getting overrun, seriously it's like for every grunt we see there are 20 more we can't."

"Right, we can investigate later," Brock nodded.

On the Topdeck team, Lorelei was running through the halls trying to get to the ship's helm.

"What do you think these grunts want with the Captain, you saw him tied up in the corner right," Misty asked.

"Tough to say, they clearly need him to be alive otherwise they wouldn't have captured him, could be they want information, they might want to steal valuables," Lorelei said.

"No the rich people didn't bring all that many valuables and everything they did bring was left in their rooms, since they disguised themselves as the crew they would know that," Green said as if it the most normal thing to know.

"I'm not even going to ask how you know that but in that case what do they want?" Misty said Green was about to say something when suddenly 5 grunts appeared in front of them and 4 more behind them.

Lorelei released Lapras and the grunts each held a Pokeball, Misty and Green each pulled out a Pokeball of their own when suddenly Lorelei pulled out a marker, "We don't have time for this Lapras."

Lorelei held her hand out and Lapras shot a beam of ice directly into Lorelei's hand, which stunned everyone, in Lorelei's hand was a Doll in a Team Rocket uniform, and she made a few markings on the arm.

Suddenly all the grunts' arms lost control and dropped down releasing the balls they had, then Lorelei did a few more and all the grunts fell over, having lost all control over their bodies but still awake. 

Misty and Green stared at Lorelei who now had a sadistic smile on her face before calming herself down and looking back at them, "Shall we continue."

Misty and Green didn't even respond, they just continued following as they started going up more stairs.

On the other side of the ship Surge and Janine were fighting back the 2 Admins Arlo and Cliff.

But on both sides they were struggling since Cliff could counter Surge and Arlo could counter Janine, it was almost like they directly chose to battle them on purpose.

"Electivire Ice Punch," Surge shouted out as he was also fighting Cliff himself.

"Brutal Swing," Cliff said as he was grabbing Surge's arms and pushing on him.

Electivire and Tyranitar ran at each other, Tyranitar's fist glowed black and Electivire's glowed blue, they both punched each other directly in the jaw which caused the ship to shake a bit, meanwhile, Surge and Cliff were evenly matched.

By the side Janine was on top of Ariados and Arlo was on Scizor as they were battling at high speeds around the ship. 

"Ariados Electroweb," Janine called out as she threw a ninja star aiming at Arlo's computer.

"As if," Arlo said smugly as he pressed a button and a shield appeared around him and Scizor blocking both moves, "Now Night Slash."

Scizor dashed forward and slashed at the spider with his claws. Janine had to jump off as Ariados was pushed back, and then she reappeared as Ariados got up ready to continue.

Both she and Surge were having trouble but neither of them could afford to lose so they continued struggling against the Admins.

At the north side of the boat Darwin and Nidoking were battling against three Pokemon that were jumping him, and each of the three fought in a perfect sync to counter him.

And Sierra was no pushover either, she was trained in hand-to-hand combat so Darwin couldn't get the upper hand in their fight.

Nidoking shot a Flamethrower at the Victreebel but Houndoom and Marowak jumped in the way to render it useless as Houndoom absorbed it and sent back a Flamethrower of his own.

Nidoking then charged a Water Pulse to shoot at them, but Victreebel pushed the two out of the way and took the attack sending a Strength Sap at him to weaken him and heal the damage it took.

And Marowak didn't let him rest either as it threw its bone like a boomerang hitting the Nidoking both times.

Meanwhile, Darwin received a Kick from Sierra's high-heel boots sending him to his back, he got back up and clicked his tongue but continued fighting.

Ash and Damian got to the bottom of the ship, they didn't run into any grunts on the way there which was surprising but they didn't have the luxury to wonder, and when they finally got to the final staircase that would lead them to the engine room they smoke, but not black smoke, red.

From the smoke appeared 4 figures and 5 Pokemon, and standing there were Jessie, James, Cassidy, and Butch, and next to them stood Ekans, Koffing, Mankey, Rattata, and Meowth.

"Hello Twerp hope you didn't forget about us," Jessie said.

"We owe you big time after the embarrassment you gave us in Mt.Moon," Butch said.

Damian looked at Ash, "You know them?"

Ash shrugged, "We met like twice with 2 of them, though if I remember correctly I didn't do anything in Mt. Moon, they embarrassed themselves." Ash said as they both completely ignored the four.

"Hey don't ignore us, in case you forgot you're our hostage so come quietly and hand over your Pokemon and…wait where is that Pikachu," James said, and then Jessie also noticed.

"I left him upstairs," Ash said, making Jessie and James sigh into their hands.

Damian leaned into Ash, "So do we need to fight them or."

"You go ahead I can take care of them," Ash said and Damian shrugged and walked downstairs completely ignoring the four.

Cassidy's eye twitched, "Stop ignoring us can't you see you are outnumbered,"

Ash stood in front of the stairs that Damian went down, "I'm more than enough, and this time try not to fight each other this time, maybe you'll make me put in some effort."

With Surge and Janine again they were getting pushed back in both Pokemon and themselves, Janine got thrown her spider and Surge got headbutted and punched back, both Surge and Janine were back to back with each other.

"Why is this guy so slippery, and these barriers he pulls up are annoying, why is this so tough," Janine said.

"He's not, I could beat him any day-" Surge said when they both realized something.

"You're thinking what I'm thinking," Janine said, smirking at Surge, and he gave a toothy nod.

"" Switch"" they both said, swapping places and their Pokemon did the same, and confusing Ciff and Arlo.

Surge ran forward and Electivire was behind him getting ready.

"It makes no difference," Arlo said as he pushed the button again, pulling up a shield again.

"Stop this you filthy casual, Electivire Fire punch!" Surge said as he pushed into the shield as Electivire charged his fist.

The shield started flickering then it shattered as Surge delivered a Close line at Arlo sending him off Scizor, then Electivire sent a flaming punch at Scizor.

On the other side, Janine ran at Cliff, and Ariados started scurrying towards Tyranitar.

Cliff scoffed and prepared his fist, "Tyranitar Stone Edge on that spider."

Cliff sent a punch, but as it got close to Janine she disappeared in a puff of smoke and appeared above him, she used the momentum to push him into the ground face first with her legs, yelling out "Venom Drench them X-Scissor".

Tyranitar stomped shaking the ship a bit and used some rocks from the field that was still lying around to throw at Ariados, Ariados however shot a purple sludge that landed in Tyranitar's eyes, and then she dodged each of the flying rocks, and used her front Pedipalps to slash into the dinosaur.

Meanwhile with Darwin things weren't going as well, he was still getting pressure put on him, and Nidoking still couldn't do any meaningful damage, and the fact that Nidoking couldn't use his strongest move without destroying the ship didn't help.

Sierra looked down at him mocking him, "Is this all you have, I must say I am disappointed, I expected more from the new Elite 4 but I guess a wannabe kid will just be that."

Sierra was about to continue when she stopped and pushed something on her ear and smiled, "Well it seems it's your lucky day. I have more important things to do, but I hope our little playdate soothed your anger." Sierra said, walking away as her Pokemon followed.

Over on the top team, Lorelei finally reached the door to the helm, and unsurprisingly it was locked and through the tinted glass there was a figure sitting at the table.

"Looks locked, should we look for another way in," Green asked.

"We don't have time, Lapras," Lorelei called as her Lapras came out of her Pokeball and froze the door handle, then Lorelei kicked the door shattering the handle, when they looked inside they were ready for a fight, but there was no one.

Looking at the chair, the one sitting there was the captain still tied up like a cocoon in a web.

Misty and Green ran over to him as Lorelei started looking over the controls, when they took the webs off his mouth he started talking, "You shouldn't have come here," looking at Lorelei.

Lorelei looked back at him after picking up the broken radio, "What do you mean?"

The captain looked over to a drawer, "He wanted to separate you all, the Elite 4."

Lorelei grabbed the drawer and on the inside was a recorder she pressed Play as everyone started listening, "I hope you didn't actually think I was in the Helm when the announcement was made, it was recorded much like this recorded message, I'm sure you've guessed where I am then, but it's too late the plan has already started. Yours truly the Executive Proton."

Lorelei's eyes widened and looked toward everyone, "We need to go now, this has been a wild Farfetch'd chase."

"Wait, what do you mean what is happening!?" Misty said looking confused and Green was the same as they finally freed the captain.

"He's not here, he was never here. I'll explain on the way but we need to go." Lorelei said as she started running, Misty and Green followed.

On the front Deck Proton was standing and was talking into his earpiece, "I have received word from Archer we can now start Phase 2, return to your original positions."

As he said that Sierra came back, "Sr, I have returned."

Proton nodded, "Did you have any complications."

Sierra shook her head, "No, that Elite 4 member was disappointed he didn't put up much of a fight."

Proton nodded, "Well I guess I have given them enough time let's start," Proton said as he pulled out something that looked like a pen with a button on top.

Sierra smiled as Proton pushed the button.
