"Pancham?"

In front of me wasn't something you'd usually see on a morning stroll...

Imagine waking up in the middle of a mystical bamboo forest, with the foggy sky adding an eerie touch to the already surreal surroundings. Suddenly, I stumbled upon a small body of water, only to be greeted by the reflection of a fictional creature staring back at you. And not just any creature, but the Pokémon, Pancham!

'What the acutal HELL?'

A few moments later...

Okay. Waking up in the body of a Pokémon is pretty insane, but now I gotta worry about where I am.

*BAM BAM*

As I'm in the middle of my contemplation, I hear from behind me footsteps of a particularly large animal.

'Pangoro...'

"Hey kid, we gotta go."- Goro

'Huh... is this my father?'

"Yeah, got it."- Cham

As we stroll along, my eyes widen as I take in the breathtaking surroundings. It's not just a bamboo forest, but rather a mesmerizing blend of a bamboo forest and an autumn rainforest. The vibrant colors and lush foliage create a magical atmosphere that transports me to another world. I can't help but feel grateful for this moment and the opportunity to witness such natural beauty.

"Hey, can I ask a question?"- Cham

"What's up?"- Goro

"Where exactly are we?"- Cham

He turns his head around and looks at me strangely but decides to answer me anyways.

"The humans around this area call this place the Bloodstone Forrest of Hisui, the name doesn't really matter though. It's all dangerous wherever you go."- Goro

"Hmm."

He's not exactly wrong, The Pokémon World is a treacherous place, filled with dangers that could make even the bravest of trainers quiver in their boots. And let's be real, a single Pokémon could easily destroy the entire planet if they wanted to.

Hisui... Seems I'm in the primitive era of Pokémon, when The Pokéball was just invented. Luckily there are only a select few trainers from this time period so I don't have to worry about being caught.

The problem is the wild Pokémon. There aren't many human establishments, so I'll always encounter them. Some may be harmless, but most will try to attack me. The issue is my lack of strength. In the Pokémon games, I'd have a move from birth, but that's not the case here. Tackle won't save me from danger. I need to figure out a solution-

In the middle of my contemplating, I find myself bumping into a very big bear looking right into my eyes.

"Kid."- Goro

"Huh?! What's up?"- Cham

Startling me out of my stupor he asks me the question that I had been hoping for.

"Are you ready to begin training?"- Goro
