Pokemon: Pallet Town's Genius

A 17 year old guy called Colson from Earth gets a second chance at life, but in a completely different world with different customs and new creatures. Lets see what his journey will bring us and what he will achieve as the twin of Green in Pallet Town ______________________________ This fanfic is made by me on this account. If seen anywhere else, it's a copy and paste. Colson will not limit himself to the gyms in Kanto and will join another league! But you will have to find out your self :) Pokemon is owned by Pokemon co, and the only thing I own are the MC and my OCs. Im a busy boy so don't expect a stable upload schedule but I will try my best to upload a few chapters a week. Also no colour or talent system. This story will be based on the anime with a sprinkle of the games and a pinch of au. Things like ways of evolving, the age of some characters, move mechanics, and what Pokemon can mega will be different. Comment if I made a grammar mistake as it's my first time writing any stories outside of the quick narratives I wrote at school.

Now releasing the Duskull, I start to use aura speech calming it down from its hungered state feeding it some Pokeblocks.

Obviously he will need more nutrients than this but this is the best I can do for now as I don't want to camp out on Mt. Moon and need to get a move on to catch a Clefairy and get my ass out of here.

----

Making my way down one of the many tunnels connecting Mt. Moon to the other side of Pewter City I sense a lot of Pokemon making a circle formation somewhere.

It's still very hard to locate Pokemon if they are a decent distance away so I had to Ash my way around.

While this happened I started to train Duskull's move pool a little bit. His moves are quite nice compared to a normal Duskull, but their mastery can improve a bit.

He has the move disabled which explains how he was able to stop Growlithe's fire fang which confused me a bit.

It kind of went over my head how he could stop a Pokemon move while it's still being used. I mostly got him to train shadow sneak my getting under my shadow and sometimes getting under my sleeve which still confuses me how it works.

From what I can infer the sleeves work as its own "shadow" where a ghost Pokemon can hide itself like a Pokeball but it is still technically outside as it can still use Pokemon moves and leave the sleeve at will.

After a while of searching I was able to find a small tunnel leading upwards, which I took with some caution as anything could happen.

So now with Monferno and I walking up this cramped tunnel with my aura checking for any Pokemon in close proximity, we make our way upwards.

*20 minutes later*

It's been quite a while since I went up this tunnel and after a good while I finally found a few signs of Pokemon above me. There were multiple Pokemon close to us at the end of the tunnel with a lot of them together in groups which made me more cautious releasing Gabite from his Pokeball.

Now making my way out of the tunnel with Monferno behind and Gabite at the front we are able to spot multiple blobs of cute pink kirb- I mean Clefairies.

After a misstep by Gabite making a noise, all of the Clefairies start to get on guard and look at us. Not wanting to create a commotion I started to talk with aura speech as it can almost fix all the problems with Pokemon.

"Hello! My name is Colson. I want to bring one of you guys with me to explore multiple different places!"

I start my recruitment speech making some of the Clefairies lose their guard but not all.

"I will be traveling the world and will have lots of different foods!" I say smiling while bringing out some of my best Pokeblocks in my dimension.

The treats getting a few Clefairies to drool but not budge too much. But after a few seconds, two Clefairy start to make their way in front of me.

Seeing this I started to put two pieces of Pokeblocks in each of my hands and give one to both of them.

It surprised me a lot to find out when talking that almost all of the Clefairy's are sapient which are extremely rare. It's really uncommon to find a naturally born sapient Pokemon that isn't bred by people in the wild.

But to find this many Clefairies with sapience is mind boggling.

Getting out two dream balls, I proceed to tap the two Clefairy's with one engulfing them in a red beam.

DING!

Two dings at the same time happen as both Clefairies are now on my team. I put them both on stasis mode for now as I don't want to introduce myself fully to them in a dark cave.

Now making my way back to the main tunnel I use my Pokedex's offline map to guide me out of Mt. Moon.

Interestingly enough, on the way out I spotted a guy with a white cloak in the distance, I didn't interact with him as it would be too much of a drag so I just kept walking eventually making my way out of Mt. Moon.

I always wondered how Gary made his way to Cerulean City through Mt. Moon. But before entering Mt. Moon I realised that there is a longer way which would take a few days of walking which makes sense.

It's just walking around the Mountain which makes plenty of sense. With a car, Gary could probably just get by in just half a day.

Walking up to the sign which points to Cerulean City I get a marker out of my dimension and write it down.

-

Gary sucks

-Colson

-

Imagining their reactions to this sign I start to giggle a little while making my way to Cerulean City

The Mt. Moon trip went pretty well.

I got three new team members.

A shiny Duskull and two Clefairys!

Duskull will be my protecter while I get two healers. I will probably train both of my Clefairy to be able to battle and heal as it's very necessary to be able to do both in this world. So after beating the second gym I will take a longer stay and start to train up my Pokemon.

There are multiple things I can do in Cerulean City like small Pokemon tournaments and the Black market.

I'm quite experienced at going to black markets in a few cities. My father used to be from a poor family, so he utilised the black market quite a bit.

Him not wanting me to be clueless of this got me to accompany him to some places with a disguise of course while he bought a few items like resources for his Pokemon and for my future ones.

You would think that it would be dangerous for a kid like me to enter the black market right?

Well, it is. It's just that It's too dangerous to attack anyone in that place which makes it hard for people to target someone even if they they think the guy is either weak or a child.

A single Pokemon could flip the tables if theirs isn't strong enough so it isn't worth following someone short like me to try to rob me.

Of course I'm not defenceless with my Monferno and Gabite with me at all times. It's quite difficult to get Pokemon to their strength, so them by themselves will be enough to safe guard me against intruders.
