Visiting Professor Oak

I have a few days to go to the Indigo Plateau, so I decide to go to Professor Oak to brag about my Flygon, part of it is because I wanted to fly on my Flygon and it's amazing I can see the city of Pallet in 5 minutes, I ask Flygon to go down, I can't fly straight there, because I can be seen as a threat to Professor Oak's Pokémon and although I've trained a lot in the last year, I'm not very confident against these old monsters, more of a walk 10 minutes and I get to the professor's lab, I ring the bell and Daisy comes to answer it.

Daisy: "Hey, Jim, how long? Do you want to see Grandpa?"

Jim: "Yes, I got my 8 badges and came to brag a little".

Daisy: "Oh, yes in between today is very busy today".

I walk in and it's really full Ash and Gary seem to be in a competition over who is Pallet's best trainer.

Professor Oak: "Jim, my good boy to see you, came to ask me about another one of your ideas? Last time you gave me a lot of inspiration for a parallel research."

Jim: "Oh, no, I got my 8 badges and I was silly, so I thought about coming here to brag about my Pokémon's progress".

Ash stares at me like he's trying to remember where he knows me.

Gary: "Hey, aren't you that Bug catcher? Like a kid who even managed to collect 8 badges?

I look at him with a playful look.

Jim: "Well, would you believe that they give you one to defeat the gym leader?"

A drop of sweat fell on everyone's head.

Gary: "Of course I know how to do that".

Jim: "I know, I was kidding you and by the way, I'm not a Bug catcher anymore, although I'm a proud trainer specializing in bug types."

Misty: "Ew, what kind of loser specializes in bug type".

She screams as if it were in her head, but she screamed with her mouth

I look in the Professor's direction and say.

Jim: "As a teacher, you're surrounded by rude people."

In a playful tone.

Professor Oak: "Yes, they are the beauties of youth".

Misty and Gary have the decency to remain ashamed.

Misty: "Sorry, I'm terrified of bug types".

Jim: "It doesn't look like an excuse, but I will accept it. I don't hold a grudge."

Misty looks even more embarrassed.

Ash: "Hey, she apologized".

Jim: "Yes and I accepted".

Ash is confused.

And the teacher intervenes.

Professor Oak: You didn't say you wanted to brag, can I know what exactly? The last time you showed up here, you were on an impressive team and didn't brag.

Jim: "Oh, do you remember our last conversation?"

Professor Oak begins to be agitated with excitement.

Professor Oak: "You don't mean that?"

Jim: "Can I speak or show you?"

So let's go outside. Everyone goes outside and I throw the Poké Ball and one of the most amazing Flygons comes out of it.

The teacher trembles with excitement, Gary and Ash pull their Pokédex and get no information from them, Daisy is delighted she meets Flygons personally and was the last time I was here, so she understands how amazing this is.

Gary: "Grandpa, what is this Pokémon?"

Professor Oak: "This was to be a Flygon, a very powerful kind of ground / Dragon type.

Gary: "Was it supposed to be?"

Jim: "Just to confirm Professor Oak, it's still a Flygon, but it's like" Alolas forms ".

Professor Oak: "So you really did it?"

Jim: "I already confirmed with Nurse Joy and yes, she is the first dual bug / dragon ever confirmed".

I pulled out a thumb drive with the data I got from that experiment and even information about the cocoon shape that I later found out was still a flutter and not a new species and I threw it at him.

Jim: "It has all the data that Nurse Joy and I managed to gather."

Christmas really came early for Professor Oak.

Gary: "Was it supposed to be ground / Dragon?"

Brock "And what do you mean by data".

Professor Oak: "Well, the lineage of the tranpich is usually a ground type and when it evolves to vibrava it gets the second Dragon type and stays that way until its last Flygon, And Jim came here a few months ago with a theory that he could manage to transform the lineage of tranpich in a bug / dragon type, and of course he wanted my opinion on the subject, well, he already had a good chance of how he could do this and even though the tranpich species had several connections with insects what he achieved was impressive. "

Gary: "It shouldn't be impossible to change a type of Pokémon."

Professor Oak: "Difficult, but not impossible, although this is the first case that I have seen that it was consciously caused by man, usually when it happens it is naturally like the" Alolas forms ".

Ash: "Alolas Forms?"

Professor Oak: "In Alola some pokémons in a series of factors ended up undergoing changes and changing their types, many Kanto pokémons have a form of Alola with totally different types".

Gary then addresses me.

Gary: "So what did you do? Experiment with a genetic change?"

I put on a cold face and say sarcastically.

Jim: "Sure, and I got a nurse Joy to be my assistant, why do you always ask me that?"

My gaze goes to the professor.

Jim ": Is it that easy to do these kinds of experiments?"

Teacher takes a while to answer.

Professor Oak: "It's more common than you think, but these people usually don't even know what they're doing and are only hurting the Pokémon in these supposed experiments."
