Episode 61: Shellfish, Seed, Mouse, Poison Bee, Flame, & Bird

One year has passed, the first day of the Pokémon League. Everyone in the Kanto and Johto region are watching either from home or directly from the tournament. The biggest event in the two regions is finally going to commence. An announcer starts of the event with a bang.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen, it's finally that time, the time we've all been waiting for, The Indigo Pokémon League! Every two years, from all over the regions comes challenger that have managed to collect 8 badges battle against each other for the chance to challenge the Elite 4 and then finally the reigning champion. Today is the first day, the day for the opening ceremony and to get all of the challengers registered for tomorrow's tournament. Please, challengers, head over to the Pokémon Center to register for the tournament!

Trainers and Pokémen alike flood into the Pokémon Center to register for tomorrow's event. Already waiting in the Pokémon Center was both Wart and Ivy. Wart has fix up his hair a bit and his tail and shell have shrunk a little too in the past year. On the other end, Ivy's flower grew in size and so did she, closer to Wart's height than before.

Wart: How come Professor Oak made us get up so early just for everyone else to come late?

Una: Who's late?

Walking into the Pokémon Center is Rai and Una, also looking different from when they all last were together. Rai's hair has grown out a decent amount while Una dawns a new suit that resembles a sleek combination of her armor as a Kakuna and ninja attire as Beedril.

Rai: Only people who's late is Otto and Leon.

Ivy: We really shouldn't have left Leon with all the badges.

Una: Yeah, if one of us had them then we could at least register right now and wait for him.

Wart: I guess then all we can do is wait. Might as well catch up a little, what did you guys do in the pass year and a half?

Wart and Ivy talk with Rai and Una for a few hours about their adventures together. Eventually, the doors to the Pokémon Center open to reveal a familiar face.

Leon: Time to show everyone just how strong I am!

Leon and Otto finally arrive, both of them in new outfits and gemstones from the castle.

Wart: Took your sweet time.

Otto: Sorry, Leon woke up late. You would think he would be up before the sun for the Indigo League but I guess not.

Leon: Let's not point fingers right now, let's just get registered for the League.

They walk up together to the badge checkpoint and hands over the 8 Kanto badges. Finally, all their hard work is about to pay off.
