Seeing that Alec had been staring at the pokemon eggs foolishly, Alder thought he wanted to take his home with him, so, after some hesitation, he decided to ask:

"What happened Alec, are you interested in taking your pokemon egg with you? Or maybe it is better if I give it to you tomorrow than we are going to Nuvema town?"

Hearing this, Alec woke up from his reverie, although somewhat stunned by Alder's questions, he answered only after thinking about it for a moment:

"Although I would like to take it home, I think it would be more appropriate for Uncle Alder to deliver it to me tomorrow at Professor Aurea's lab, once he finds the place where I will settle."

Hearing this, Alder said no more, for his part, Alec headed to the exit of the room and as he passed through the living room before reaching the exit, he found Benga giving his larvae some berries.

Benga, seeing Alec, got up from the couch before saying to Alec:

"I see you're leaving now, is everything okay?"

Hearing this, Alec nodded towards Benga before replying:

"Yes, I'll have a busy day tomorrow, so I have to go now."

Benga nodded in acknowledgment before saying goodbye to Alec by bumping his fists.

Thus, just as Alec was about to leave, Benga's voice echoed through the house.

"Although we got the pokemon egg we wanted, the next time we meet, I'll challenge you to a pokemon match, hope you're ready by then."

With great courage and enthusiasm, Benga yelled at Alec, the larva of him next to him also seemed to cheer him on the idea, even small flames appeared on his horns.

Alec looked surprised, but smiled at Benga and just said:

"I will not lose."

That being said, Alec left the house with the tide beside him, who seemed quite happy to have gone out for a little walk and not had to fight.

On the side of him, Alder smiled at the sight he had just witnessed before calling out to Benga and admonishing him for yelling at the house.

Meanwhile Alec was walking through the town, he could not help stretching while he looked at everything with curiosity, for the first time since he came to this world, he felt truly free and with great emotion about his future.

Alec woke up quite early, yesterday he told Grandpa Tokuzo and Ellie about his departure, who were happy for him, since they knew that everything was organized by Alder, who would never harm Alec.

Thus, it did not take Alec long to pack his few belongings into a black backpack he had and went to sleep.

The first thing he did when he got up was to wash himself and change into a clean set of clothes, consisting of long black pants and a dark blue short-sleeved polo shirt and on his head was a dark gray cap.

Looking at it like this, anyone would notice that Alec's tastes were quite particular, but Alec didn't care, he always liked dark colors.

Soon after, he had a quick breakfast and headed towards the farm with a small red and white sphere in hand, today he had something very important to deal with the little mareep.

Unlike what Alec expected, it did not take him long to find the little boy, who was lying quite close to his other companions, but he got up when he noticed Alec's presence.

Seeing this, Alec motioned for the little boy to accompany him towards the entrance of the barn, where he looked for a nearby tree and sat on it while he waited for the little tide to approach.

The little boy appeared soon, approaching and sitting next to him, while his little eyes looked up at him.

Alec did not look at him for the moment, but he looked in the direction of the sun that was beginning to rise in the sky, while he said:

"You know, I'm leaving today."

Hearing this, the little boy nodded, he had been with him yesterday, so he knew he would be leaving today.

Seeing this, Alec sighed as he showed the pokeball in his hand to the little mareep.

"Most likely I won't be back for a long time, so I'd like you to come with me."

Alec paused here, before staring at the little boy.

"My dream has never changed, and I think you already know that, I want to become a pokemon trainer, so these 5 years are very important to me, so pokemon fighting and training even harder than we did will be the norm. of the day, I know that you do not like fights, and I do not want to force you, so I leave the choice to you, do not worry, even if you do not choose to come with me, you will always be the first pokemon that I personally trained, and in when my journey ends, do not doubt that I will come looking for you."

And saying this, Alec put the pokeball on the ground, awaiting the decision of the little tide.

The little boy seemed to hesitate quite a bit as he looked towards the pokeball, but in the end, he just shook his head as he looked towards the stable, for Alec, his answer was very clear.

Seeing this, Alec sighed rather regretfully, although he had already expected it, even so, he had a small expectation.

Alec took the pokeball from the ground and put it away, while gently stroking the head of the little mareep, and with a smile, said:

"Well, since you're staying, then you'd better take care of Ellie and Grandpa Tokuzo, don't give them as much trouble as I did, also don't worry, I'll try to come visit as soon as I can."

Thus, Alec played with the little one for a moment, and it was only when the sun was already fully in the sky that he said goodbye to the little tide.

A few hours later, Alder showed up at the farm, where Alec was already waiting for him, who with a black backpack on his back was already waiting for him at the farm entrance.

Seeing this, Alder said no more, he just smiled at Alec as he said:

"Ready?"

Alec nodded, turned to look at the entrance of the house where grandpa Tokuzo and Ellie were, waving their arms saying goodbye to him, nearby were all the pokemon on the farm, saying goodbye to him in their own way. It filled Alec's heart with an indescribable feeling.

But perhaps the most exciting thing about that farewell, was that the little tide shouted in his direction while suddenly the sky darkened, and to everyone's surprise, a huge lightning bolt appeared in the sky, it seemed that the little tide was telling him no worried, with the strength he had from his training, he would take good care of the farm.

Thus, with the best wishes of all, Alec left the farm together with Alder.
