Alec, seeing Professor Kukui's look, knew what he was thinking, so he pointed to the little rockruff he was resting in the corner.

Seeming to understand this, the "rotomdex" returned to Alec's hands, while on the screen all the information of the rockruff appeared in front of him, as well as its evolutions, places of sighting, forms of training, etc.

Seeing this, Alec knew that he had succeeded, so, with a look of joy, he said to the professor:

"Professor Kukui, it looks like it was a success."

Hearing this, Professor Kukui breathed a sigh of relief before giving Alec a thumbs up, saying:

"It's all thanks to you, if it weren't for your ideas and even your words towards rotom, I doubt I would have been able to conceive of this idea, much less put it into practice."

"I'm sure you professor would have had this idea sooner or later, in my case, I thought of this idea because I aspire to be a pokemon trainer, so I've longed to have a pokedex, but Professor Aurea always postpones this topic."

"I think I understand why she does it, for any pokemon professor or researcher, knowing the habits of the pokemon in our region is the most basic thing, so maybe the professor wanted you not to count on everything with the pokedex, after all , it should be a tool and not a necessity."

So far, the professor paused slightly before continuing:

"But I really didn't expect you would want to become a pokemon trainer, after seeing what you can do and your knowledge I was pretty sure a new fellow would join our ranks."

Hearing this, Alec couldn't help but feel embarrassed, after all, the only thing he did until now was apply his knowledge from his previous life with what he learned in this one, so he quickly replied:

"You overestimate me professor, I'm not as good as you think, but to all this, I have a few suggestions about the pokedex that I would like to add."

Seeing that Alec didn't want to continue the subject, the professor said no more as with a hand on his chin, he motioned for Alec to continue.

"First of all, I'd like to call this new pokedex, rotomdex, if it's not too much of a bother, after all, I think rotom deserves its credit."

Hearing this, the rotomdex's screen lit up, apparently rotom seemed to like the name.

"Rotomdex huh, I like the way it sounds, plus rotom seems to like it, so I don't have a problem with it."

Having the professor's approval, Alec breathed a sigh of relief, before continuing:

Hearing this, the professor nodded seriously saying:

"I had thought of that too, but the components I need are not at hand, I have to order them from Kalos, after all, as you will understand, I had not thought of creating the rotomdex."

Hearing this, Alec nodded as well, pointing out a few more things that might be of use to the rotomdex.

The professor also added his thoughts, noting some as most of these required components he didn't have on hand, so they both agreed to include them in the next update.

Since it was already night, Professor Kukui suggested that he stay the night, to which Alec hesitated a bit before nodding.

Alec wanted to take this opportunity to get information on the Alolan pokemon he was interested in, after all, that was his goal in coming here.

Thus, after informing Professor Aurea about this, Alec turned his gaze towards the professor, who, seeing that Alec seemed to want to say something, smiled at him and said:

"Come on boy don't hold back, I think after we create a new pokedex, we should have the confidence to talk to each other normally."

Seeing the trust he had gained from Professor Kukui, Alec no longer hesitated and said:

"Thank you for your trust, professor, as I already mentioned, I want to become a pokemon trainer, and although I know there are a few years left, I would like to start building my team, and since I am in Alola, I cannot deny that I am quite interested in some pokemon from this region."

Hearing this, Professor Kukui knew where Alec was getting at, so he placed a hand on his chin, thinking for a moment before answering:

"This is why you hesitated to ask, right? You want me to help you find some pokemon that interest you."

Hearing this, Alec nodded, before, with slight hesitation, he picked up the black backpack he had carefully placed in a corner, revealing to Professor Kukui what was there.

At first, Professor Kukui didn't seem to understand what Alec wanted to show him, at least that's the way it was until he saw Alec take out an incubator from the backpack with a black pokemon egg inside it, which was submerged in a bluish liquid.

"This is…?"

Seeing the doubt in the professor's eyes, Alec was quick to reply:

"This is a test that my uncle Alder decided to give me, inside this pokemon egg there is a dragon type pokemon, although I don't know the species, I know the behavior of the dragon pokemon, so I would like that, before it was born, I had company of other pokemon to better adapt and grow."
