LOG 42: The Intruder

Lurking at the skies of Unova, the Plasma frigate of whom claims to freeze seas and oceans, lands and mountains, is now at course to the eastern reaches of the beholden region. The weather had fell after the tremendous storm that swept the construction site of the Pokemon World Tournament, a stadium where people battle fiercely against all odds.

"What's that red dot over there?" asked one of the grunts at the control center, looking at their large monitor. It was blue in background and had the ship's construction model in it like those in a blue print.

"I do not know. Must be a Ratatta again."

"A ratatta running in that speed?"

Their alarms soon rang.

Another grunt bashed down the door and brought awareness to those in charge in the control room.

"There's an intruder! She's too powerful," said he.

"An intruder? Damn it. Must be that Rose again."

Professor Sophie entered the control room awakened from the deck of the ship where she had her siesta but woke from the noise of the running grunts.

"Oh bollocks! What's this bogus about?"

"There's an intruder aboard, Professor."

"An intruder? Tell the squadron to deal with them."

"I've been doing since half an hour ago. Her Snorlax wrecked havoc and I could barely see her. Unfortunately, I was one of the few who were able to escape."

"A Snorlax owned by a trainer of whom you could barely see?" the professor chuckled.

"I don't lie!"

"Alright. Let me deal with this. You all rest. Leave the floor and leave me alone to handle this matter."

"A-A-Are you sure you don't need any assistance?" the grunt asked.

"There are things that I must accomplish in solitude, Mr. Fortree, but you have my assurance that I will not fail Team Plasma. I had once and never again!"

She smirked and walked out of the room.

The grunts in charged open their mics to the floor where the perpetrator was at. They could hear her saying, "Snorlax! Body Slam!" and the grunts tethered in fear.

"All grunts return at once to the deck. I repeat, do not engage."

The other in charged open the camera monitors. She could see them, her crewmates, going back to the deck and letting the intruder move through. She switched to monitor 332007 where as exhibited was the professor walking calmly, holding, clenching, rather, what appeared to be a Pokeball to them and was descending the stairs at the stern. The grunts who were asked to leave passed her way and were in shock to have been notified Professor Sophie would dare handle the culprit alone.

"This is a suicide mission. The girl's stronger than the other three. Those were easy to get rid off, I believe," said the grunt.

"Have you no faith in her?"

"No, no, I do. Just keep your eyes on the monitor and see what she's up to. If anything goes wrong, assemble the squadron at the foot of the stairs."

"But--"

"Just for safety measures, of course."
