EPISODE 107: The Path to Conquests and Beyond!***

My breathing intensifies as I walk back to my room. This will be my last day as an Elite Operative of this branch but at least Professor Olive and Xeryll will still be with me throughout my conquest in the Hoenn Region. I wonder what it's like there? Perhaps stronger trainers? Stronger rivals? Or worse, opposing organizations.

"There you are, Luna! I was looking for you throughout the morning where have you been? I have good news to tell you!" After seeing me walk delicately through the halls, Virgo runs to me, nearly stumbling over.

"Virgo, you're as clumsy as you'll always be." I tease and smile but that smile only lasted for a few seconds as it quickly shifts into a tangled frown.

"Guess what!"

"You were promoted as a Professor of Team Rocket."

"H-h, how did you know?" She stutters in surprise.

"The executives told me. Professor Olive told me too. Sigh, I'm happy for you Virgo."

"Why do you look so sad? Were you demoted or something?" Virgo's mind becomes perplexed as she observes my frown getting bigger.

"Virgo. So, this is our last day together. I will be sent to the Hoenn Region, and... um... you- you, you're not included."

"R-really? I don't see what's saddening about that."

"You've accompanied me through many missions and you're the only friend who survived every single catastrophe. Charlotte and Xavier? They're gone. Jenny? I don't even know if we still think of each other as friends. This might even be our last time together. Who knows what may come in the Hoenn Region?" I mutter slowly, tears flowing down.

"Luna. That's not true. Of course, we'll meet each other someday. Maybe not tomorrow or in the following years but we'll surely meet again!" Virgo hugs me tightly as mall tears fall off her face too.

"Promise you won't you forget me?"

"Why would I forget you, Luna? You've done many great things not to mention most of them were failures but hey? At least you're a woman who never gives up. Without you, this Team Rocket would disband and that is something I will never forget. So, for our last day what do you want to do together?" She whispers to my ear, rubbing my back gently.

For our last day together we did a galore of various things. We started our day by eating some hoer devours. It was the very same meal the two of us ate during the first time I met Virgo. The flavor of the meal brings back all those enthusiastic memories I had with her. From the laughter of the day, to the fun of the night, they all played as if I was watching a movie from my mind.

We also had our last battle together and this time, it ended in a draw. Maybe it was because we were having a hard time focusing since this will be our last battle that's if, we don't meet again but I wish we would. I remember the battle I had with her when our Pokemon evolved at the same time. It was great, and this final one recalled everything.

For the afternoon, we stayed in our room, having our final conversations with one another. She also discussed some of Hoenn's famous landmarks which include the famous space station established in one of its cities though I can't recall the name. As for the landscape of the region, it said that it is filled with abundant caverns especially in the east. There was also this volcano known as Mount Chimney with two towns surrounding it.

And at last for dinner, we ate our final meal. Virgo's smile as she eats, it will always remain gigantic as ever, never to fade away. Her smile, I will always remember, her looks I will never forget. I guess the words of the wise are true, "It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters in the end."

"Wake up!" I was awakened by a pillow thrown harshly at my face. I open my eyes only to see Virgo smiling at me.

"You woke up late again. Your helicopter leaves at ten remember? It's already nine in the morning! You better prepare." Virgo alerts.

I quickly lean my torso upward, clumsily hitting my head on Virgo's bed. Luckily, I was able to prepare my things last night so I do not need to rush gravely. Onto the shower I go, cleansing myself. I then brush my teeth violently since I was being pressured by the clock.

With everything set and my Pokemon all groomed, it is time to head to the Hoenn Region! In the penthouse is where things become emotional. Xeryll is inside her helicopter, ready to drive it. Beside her is Professor Olive, waiting for me to enter the vehicle.

"Thank you for everything executives," I mumble softly. It is at that moment where I could no longer hold my tears thus I let them flow in front of everybody, including Cliff.

"Hehe! Once we meet again, I want to battle you." says, Cliff with determination. I happily nod my head as I wipe off the tears bothering my eyes.

As for Virgo, she talked no more, and instead beams to me in the speed of lightning. We hug each other tightly to the point we could barely breathe. We then separate from a moment as we happily smirk at each other while our tears blended as one in the floor.

She removes her glasses, and there she releases another round of her tears. They flow passionately, soaking the helicopter pad. "Goodbye, Virgo! Until we meet again." I whisper my last words to her ears and hugged her one last time.

"Hey, I want to give you something before you leave. I just saw it laying on Giovanni's desk at his cave. Here, I don't know what it's called but hopefully, you'll find a good use for it someday." Virgo says as she extends a marble-like stone to me. I was astounded by the stone as a certain attraction coming from it pulls me.

"What kind of marble is this?"

"I don't know. It says on the internet that this is a fancy stone found in the Kalos Region. I can't remember its name so, yeah. Take good care of it and never lose it." Virgo bids strictly.

"I will. I promise."

"Luna! We're running late. Hurry." Professor Olive disrupts our emotional moments. Again, we hug each other for one last time. I then proceed to the helicopter.

As the vehicle ascends to the sky, I look down to Virgo and her falling tears. She shouts out loud, "Bon Voyage! Best Wishes!"

I could barely hear her due to the closed-door but I knew she was bidding me a final goodbye. From the vehicle, I wave my hand, soaking the seats with tears.

A new adventure calls for new people. Now it is time to go further, to take a step towards success for Team Rocket. Ah, Hoenn. How I can't hold myself to see what awaits me in that region. I am Luna Evergreen, and the Hoenn Conquests has just begun! BLAST-OFF!

For now, I do not have plans to return Virgo but maybe I will in the future.
