Two starters

" I think you all already knew about the starter of Kanto Region , from Yesterday's television broadcast all over Pallet town", Said Prof Oak as he stood beside a cylindrical machine ,which have three pokéballs inside it , and continued ," I hope you all will choose wisely ".

Meanwhile Arthur looked ,at Gary and Leaf who were standing beside him , Arthur knew what Gary and Leaf was gonna pick , So he just let them discuss about who will pick first

After a thorough discussion and many coin fliping , they finally came to a conclusion , that Gary will pick first , next Leaf and then Arthur

As always Gary picked Squirtle , and seeing it Arthur only sighed .

"What are you making that face for ?",asked Gary , while glaring at Arthur.

"Nothing,I was just wondering something", shrugged Arthur as he shifted his gaze at Leaf and continued,"Go on Leaf , its your turn".

Arthur was confident what Leaf was gonna choose , but Arthur's world Turned upside down when Leaf select Charmander .

' Didn't expect that one coming ....., Anyway it's no use crying over it now'.

Anyway Arthur also believes that bulbasaur is also one of the best pokémon of kanto Region , And if trained properly , it can take on any Pokémon.

"Then , I choose bulbasaur", said Arthur as he picked up the pokéball.

As soon as Arthur picked up the pokéball , a blue screen poped up infornt of him.

' System haa?? ... anyway You sure are late', Arthur spoke in his mind

After the last pokémon was taken, Professor Oak took out three pokedex from the pocket of his lab coat and explained it functions.

He gave one pokédex and 6 pokéball to each one of them.

After receiving their Pokemon and tools, Gary and Leaf thanked Prof Oak and left immediately .

Meanwhile Arthur spend a few minutes , saying goodbye to his pokémon friends in the lab and Arthur went down the hill with Prof Oak as Prof wanted to give some tips to Arthur ,on his way down.

Arriving at the bottom of the hill , Arthur saw Gary with a huge crowd surrounding him .

'I think silently passing away is the best option', thought Arthur as he slipped passed the crowd without anyone noticing him.

Though Gary was popular , but Arthur was way more popular than him in Pallet town. Being a genius about pokémon , a good-looking boy and being the one and only student of Prof Oak , were reasons enough , to become the centre of attention in Pallet town .

Meanwhile, when Arthur was trying to quietly run towards the exit , he felt a hand grabbing his ear from behind .

"Where do you think you are going without saying goodbye", said Mrs Leywins while pulling Arthur's ear.

"Ouch ...Ouch..., it hurts mom ,and I swear , I was looking for you mom ", Claimed Arthur.

Hearing that ,she exerted more strength on his ear.

"Who do you think you are fooling ?",asked Mrs Leywins.

And suddenly the pain , increased two folds , making Arthur apologize to his mom.

"By the way mom , you are looking way younger then I remember from morning , Did you used any beauty products", smirked Arthur.

"Don't try to smooth talk me and I don't need beauty products to look young", Said his mom as she hugged him and continued,"Take care of yourself Arthur".

"I will mom", replied Arthur as he patted her back and enjoyed the embrace.

Releasing himself after a minute , Arthur wished goodbye to his mom and exited Pallet town.

Moving through the route for about an hour Arthur finally received an notification and a blue screen poped up.

As soon as the notification poped up , Arthur felt an immense pain inside his head , as if his head was going to burst any moment soon.

" Ahhhhhhhhhhhh ", Shouted Arthur in agony as he fell on his knees.

The pain lasted for a few seconds ,But those few seconds ,Arthur felt like experiencing hell .

Grabbing his head , Arthur finally stood up as the pain was decreasing , he released a relief sigh and said,"Woow , That was a lot of pain and information to take in at once",

Though Arthur was mad by the sudden pain but he was way more happier than being mad, because he finally got the cheat , he wished from the moment he was born , in this world.

Arthur immediately opened his bag , and took out the gift box.

Opening it , Arthur saw a Pokéball inside it , He did expect some sweets but a pokémon , he never expected such a gift from his mom and dad. Even before seeing what's inside the pokéball , Arthur was glad , as he smiled at the pokéball and promised himself, wherever pokémon is inside the pokéball , he will take full responsibility of him even he comes out to be a weak pokémon.

Pressing the button and releasing the pokemon , Arthur's mouth dropped when he saw the pokemon .

"Holy shit .....It's a Gible , How the hell , dad got his hands on such a pokémon , My luck is surely sky soaring today", claimed Arthur as he patted Gible and continued,"My name is Arthur , It's nice to meet you Gible , I hope we get along".

Gible looked at Arthur with a confused expression , but after a few seconds , as if he understood something .

"Grible", He cheerfully nodded at Arthur .

Looking at Gible , Arthur returned a smile , and spoke inwardly ,'Show pokémon status'.

And suddenly a blue screen poped up.

After seeing , Gible's status , and now Arthur was more excited to see Bulbasaur's status .

He took out bulbasaur from his pokeball .

"Bulbaa", Bulbasaur cheerfully looked at Arthur .

" Looks like , you are a smart one , buddy", Said Arthur as he patted bulbasaur and continued inwardly ,' Pokémon status'.

"Anyway , you are gonna be the strongest Pokemon someday , I promise , and welcome to my team", smile Arthur .

Arthur knew their potential (Indigo) was on a whole different level , And he couldn't help but think if all the starter have the same potential or is it's just his bulbasaur , and he was also glad to get Gible .

"Rest up , we will be starting our training from tomorrow",Said Arthur as he returned Gible and bulbasaur to there pokéballs.

Arthur continued his march .

On his way Arthur did saw many Pokémon, But most of them have a red potential and rarely Orange . And Arthur didn't wanted to just fill his team , So he was looking for Pokémon he can depend on, in a battle .

He was looking for Pokémon with yellow potential or above .

At the end of the day , Arthur didn't found any pokémon , matching his requirements. So he set up his camp and called it a day.

Next morning .....6:00am

Waking up ,Arthur looked at his alarm which he placed beside the sleeping bag last night .

"Perfect timing ", said Arthur as he went out and took out Bulbasaur and Gible. After some light snacks , he stood up

" Lets , start with a 5 km run boys ", said Arthur as he stored the camping stuff in his back .
