Meeting Nido

'Do I really have to call'.

Arthur thought as he stared at the desktop.

"It's just a call and I know mom loves me more then dad ....., I guess".

Arthur said, and called home.

"Hello , it's Leywins Residents, Nobody is at home right now ,please leave a voice message".

That's the sound came from the speaker , and it felt like some melodious song to Arthur .

"Hmmm, am I dreaming",

Arthur said and pinched himself as he stared at the speaker.

'Ouch...., It's hurts, Helll yeah , it hurts', Arthur shouted inwardly.

"Hehehe, It's not my fault now",

Arthur smirked at the computer and then left a voicemail , that he reached Viridian City.

After sending the voicemail ,Arthur looked around , the Pokémon center was almost empty.

'Hmm, let's retrieve Bulbasaur and Gible, So that we can leave early tomorrow',

Arthur thought as he approached the counter where Nurse Joy was working.

"Hi Nurse Joy , I would like to take my pokémon, that I submitted, for check up", Arthur said with a smile.

"May I know your Name", Asked Nurse Joy.

"Yeah, It's Arthur Leywins and I submitted a Bulbasaur and Gible", said Arthur.

"Oh ,so that was your Gible", asked Nurse Joy as she looked at Arthur.

'Wait don't tell me',

Arthur was imagining the worst possible outcome , that Gible broke something in the lab ,

"What happened , Nurse Joy", asked Arthur as he looked at Nurse Joy with a cute and Innocent look , So that she can let it go this time.

"No , He just didn't let anyone touch him, and even ordering around other Pokémon in the lab",said Nurse Joy with a smile.

'Haaa???,what he did...,..Hahahaha, that's like my pokémon', Arthur laughed inwardly.

"Sorry for that , I will surely teach him some manners", Arthur said and bowed as an Apology while he smiled looking at the floor as if he proud for him.

Getting up , Arthur again put the innocent face and looked at Nurse Joy.

As he knew that no one can see through his Innocent face , except his mom , as she have gained immunity after spending 10 years with him and she can even see through his lies.

Meanwhile. Nurse Joy went in and brought two pokéballs . Handing them to Arthur , she just smiled at him.

"Thank you , for taking care of them", Arthur thanked her with a smile .

Leaving the counter , Arthur went to the room, he was provided by the pokemon center.

Entering the room , Arthur looked around. The room was small with , a bed , a study desk , a table lamp ,a clock etc. It was a simple room.

Arthur smiled at the room , According to him that the best room , he can get for free anyway.

Arthur kept his back on the desk and jumped on the bed.

"What a lucky day ,and sorry mom ,next time I will surely call you first", Arthur said as he gazed at the roof of the room.

Though he was afraid to call her , but he actually loves her a lot and he knew it was his fault that he forgot about his mom .

Closing his eyes , Arthur fell asleep in a few seconds.

Next Morning....

Currently he and his pokémon's were training inside the Viridian forest. He woke up a 5 am and left Viridian city at 6 am after doing breakfast.

'Hmmm, 35 push-ups and 30 squats', thought Arthur as he wiped the sweat on his forehead.

Meanwhile when he looked at his pokémon's, Bulbasaur was training his vine whip while Gible was training his Dragon rage.

"Hey Guys , let's run a little and then we will have snacks,"Said Arthur as he already started running and shouted ,"Come on, show me what you have got, hahaha".

Meanwhile when he was laughing , Bulbasaur and Gible had already left him behind,

"Hm!!!, Showing off to your trainer haa??", smiled Arthur as he increase his pace.

After Running for an hour , They stopped. Arthur was the last one to arrive while Bulbasaur and Gible even had to wait for him for 10 minutes at the location.

After having some snack they continued there March , as Bulbasaur and Gible insisted to walk with him.

'Hey system , Alert me if there is any Pokémon with yellow potential or with greater potential nearby', Arthur said to the system .

After a 4 hrs march, The system finally send a notification.

[Ding... Pokemon with yellow potential detected]

"Guy's looks like we are going to get a friend",said Arthur and started using indentify on the pokémon nearby.

"Bulbaaa",

"Gribble",

They cheerfully nodded and followed Arthur deeper inside the forest.

After searching for 10 minutes Arthur finally found the pokemon. It was was Nidoran(male) sleeping beside a Nidoking , Most probably his father that's what Arthur thought.

"Hmmm, Looks like we will not get a friend today", smiled Arthur while grazing at the sleeping Nidoking and Nidoran.

Hearing him Both Bulbasaur and Gible nodded and smiled at Arthur.

Arthur do wanted to catch him but for some reason he wasn't able to convince himself.

Meanwhile, the Nidoran woke up and curiously approached Arthur . As Due to his overprotective father he don't get to see many humans.

Arthur saw the Nidoran advancing towards him, He smiled at it and took out some pokefood from his bag. He gave some to Nidoran. And suddenly noticed the two pokémon staring at the food.

"What are you two staring at , you two have already got your share earlier ,didnt you", Arthur whispered so that the Nidoking don't wakes up.

Hearing him Bulbasaur and Gible turned their faces to side, as if they are saying that Arthur had disappointed them.

"No overeating , Or you won't be able to run", whispered Arthur . while hearing him Bulbasaur and Gible looked at Arthur and sighed.

Arthur got it what they wanted to say , they were obviously sighing at Arthur, as he was the slowest one in the group.

'Comparing me with yourselves haaa??, Just wait', Thought Arthur as he patted Nidoran and stared at the other two.

Arthur was planning to train them so hard that they won't be able to run, But he knew that was not good plan , so he dropped the it.

"Hey Nido , If we meet again, wanna come with me", Arthur asked silently as he shifted his gaze at Nidoran.

Nidoran shooked his head and quickly hide behind Nidoking. Seeing him Arthur sighed.

"It's okay , Enjoy the food Nido", said Arthur as he left with Bulbasaur and Gible.

Actually he would have caught him, but seeing him , Arthur remember the time he spend with his mom and dad ,and he also didn't wanted to separate him from his family without his will.

Meanwhile Arthur returned Bulbasaur and Gible to there pokéballs , and continued his march alone.

" Shit , I should have talked to mom , even if I get a little scolding", Said Arthur as he gazed at the sky and continued,"I am really Missing you Mom and you to dad".

Arthur shifted his gaze at the forest infront of him and walked deeper inside it , As he had now gain two reasons why he should hurry , First to defeat Brock before he leaves with Ash , and Second , he wanted to talk with his mom.

Arthur continued his march for 5 hours , and stopped when he noticed the sun going down.

He set the tent with Bulbasaur's and Gible's help and cooked some food for himself and his pokémon's.

Sitting beside Bulbasaur and Gible , Arthur patted them while all of them were gazing at the night sky .

"It sure is beautiful don't you two think", asked Arthur while gazing at the sky.

"Bulbaaa", nodded Bulbasaur and Gible followed him,"Giiible".

Meanwhile when Arthur Heard Gible , he remembered yesterday's conversation with Nurse Joy . So he stared at Gible while Gible shook his head in confusion.

"I heard that you order other Pokémon around at the Pokémon center ", asked Arthur while Gible avoided eye contact.

"Bulbaaa", Agreed Bulbasaur.

" Grib gribl ", Gible shooked his head.

"Don't do it", Said Arthur while Gible nodded sadly.

"Not till you are strong enough ", said Arthur as he smiled at Gible.

"Grrrible",agreed Gible.

Arthur patted him and Bulbasaur and smiled at them

After having there dinner , Arthur Returned Gible and Bulbasaur to the Pokéballs, and slipped inside his Sleeping bag inside the tent.
