10: pewter city

It took nearly half a day for Leo to reach pewter city, he couldn't wait for pidegeotto to evolve, he was really getting tired of walking.
"I'm surprised I haven't run into those team rocket idiots yet"
Leo said as he looked at a few people who were also walking towards pewter city.

After entering pewter city, Leo was surprised, it was bigger than he expected, with many cars moving around, there were even Pokémon walking and flying around.
Leo immediately noticed a sign that read Pokémon center > and Pokémon shop <
Leo headed in the direction of the Pokémon center first, although the doubted his Pokémon were hurt, he just wanted to be safe than sorry.

"Thanks young man, you can take a seat, this will take a while" nurse joy said before taking Leo's two pokeballs.

While sitting down, Leo noticed another figure in that pokecenter, it was actually Gary, Gary had managed to reach the first gym wayyy before ash did, so this wasn't a surprise.
Leo wasn't planning on getting it in with this guy, as he knew Gary was a pretty arrogant guy, perhaps they would fight at the league.
Ding!
A sharp sound rang through the room, alerting that his Pokémon had been healed, Leo took his two pokeballs before purposefully walking past Gary who was waiting.
"Hm, he looks familiar?" Gary thought as he watched the slightly tall Leo leave the Pokémon center.

For the rest of the day, Leo visited many restaurants and bought some food, as he was kind of extremely hungry, he also filled up his supplies, and even got some new clothes, folded neatly into his backpack.
After that he headed towards an inn where he was planning to stay for a while before challenging the gym.
"Hello sir, how may I help you" a young lady's voice entered his ears as he entered the inn.
It was an extremely beautiful girl around the same age as Leo, butt was a few years older.
"I just want a room to stay for today, and I'll leave tomorrow" Leo said as he pulled out some pokecoins.
"Ok that'll be 50 pokecoins for one night" the young girl said with a cheery smile.
Leo wasn't surprised by the price as this was one of the best inn's in pewter city currently.
"Here" Leo handed her the pokecoins immediately and took the key, lookin at the keynumber he headed up the stairs and into the room...

Phew!
It's good to finally be on a room, Leo thought as he sat on the bed, there was even a computer here.
Leo immediately tossed out both frogadier and pidgeotto, they started to happily play in the room.
"Don't break anything or else I'll rlly be in sum bullshit" Leo laughed as he rubbed their heads.

After replying back to the message from his parents, Leo turned off his phone and turned towards the computer in the room..
[todays topic is, legendary ho-oh Pokémon sighted, flying across pewter city, it's divine feathers lighting up the sky] the first notification said.
With pictures of ho-oh flying across the sky.
"Hmph, my pidgeotto will be even stronger than moltres and those three chickens"
Leo said as he began to search for the location of the gym in pewter city.
It wasn't long before he got his answer.

Leo showered and returned his Pokémon to their pokeballs.
"Tomorrow will be my very first gym battle, this one should be easy" Leo said as he wore some pajamas.
He watched some dramas on his phone and played a few games before falling asleep.

The next day, Leo woke up in a great mood, he felt full of energy and was looking forward to today, as this would be his very first Pokémon battle.
Leo even pulled out his map, after circling an area, he managed to write "pewter city gym" since it wasn't labeled on the map.
After telling his parents about his first gym battle, Leo got dressed before taking all his things out of the inn, and leaving.

"I just love the weather in this world" Leo said as he felt the sunlight hit his face, the wind sharply blowing through his hair.
"That's a huge pidgeot" Leo exclaimed in shock as he noticed a huge bird type Pokémon with its wings spread, flying above the inn building.
"If my pidgeotto becomes twice as big as that when it evolves, I would even be able to fit 3 people on it" Leo said as he sighed.

"I should head to the gym first" he thought as he rushed through the crowds, he was taller than most of the adults, so he managed to get through easily.
