Farming Horned Rabbits

Being attacked on both sides, Chris heart began to beat like crazy. With less than twenty health left one rabbit was near its death door. Chris started to summon a new poison ball while shifting his body to the left ready to evade the next attack. Having seen through his pattern, the rabbits started to change their tactics. Both of them jumped towards Chris at the same time making sure to cover even his escape path.

Unable to evade both attacks Chris shot the poison ball at the rabbit with the lowest health, sending it flying through the air. His joy over the six damage caused by him did not last long, losing eight health points and having another deep wound on his body wasn't a pleasing experience.

Trying to outsmart them, Chris began to circle around them. Both rabbits tried to attack together again but this time they could not hit their target. Using the timing right Chris shot another ball right at the still flying rabbit shaving off another five health of its life.

Running around them for about six more seconds killed off one of the rabbits and regenerated his mana back for another poison ball. After the rabbit died a message was displayed inside of his mind.

Having no time to think much about the message, Chris readied another poison ball shooting it at the dashing rabbit dealing four damage to it. With no mana points left Chris started to jump around evading the incoming attacks from the rabbit. As soon as he had enough mana points, he threw another ball to trigger the poison effect. Chris then choose to run around the rabbit evading its attacks until it died.

'Finally, that fight was way harder than I first thought. Five experiences per kill is not much and killing eighteen more going to be a pain in the ass. First I should regenerate my health back and then I need to figure out a better way to kill these rabbits. One more rabbit would have spelled my doom. It is impressive through that my wounds are closing up just because I regenerate some health points.'

After regenerating back to full health, Chris started to travel in the direction of the forest. Occasionally there were some horned rabbits running around in the grass or feeding on it. Trying to find a better way, Chris took a detour every time he meet some of them, taking over one hour to cross all the way to the forest.

'Oh wow, there are so many horned rabbits under these trees. If I could somehow climb one of them, killing those horned rabbits would be a breeze.'

Scouting his surroundings for a feasible way to get close to one of those trees, Chris noticed that two trees were connected by some branches. As luck would have it, one of these trees had four horned rabbits under it. The other one was devoid of any rabbits.

Chris sneaked carefully to this tree. Due to the slight fear of being discovered, Chris started to sweat heavily. In no time, Chris found himself standing right on front of it, hugging the tree to slowly crawl it up.

After a felt eternity, he was finally able to climb the tree up to the said branches. Awkwardly gripping these branches, Chris started to crawl over it to reach the branch of the other tree. Right in the middle of it the branches they suddenly started to creak, giving Chris quite a scare. As fast as he could he crawled to reach the other side giving his all not to fall down.

After finally reaching the other side, Chris took a deep breath to calm his shaking hands. He stayed in that position for a while until he was completely relaxed. Looking down, he could see four rabbits lying in the shade of the tree. Chris moved around the branches to find himself a good spot to aim from.

Sitting comfortable on a branch, Chris summoned a poison ball aiming it at the closest rabbit. Checking the possible trajectory of the ball one last time, Chris got ready and shot the ball. The poison ball shot like a bullet and landed directly on the rabbit, causing an amazing damage of six points.

Being hit by the ball the rabbit jumped up from the ground waving his head around to search for the enemy. Scared by the attack even the other horned rabbits stood up and warily looked around.

Seeing their confusion a smile creeped on Chris face. Casting another poison ball he aimed for another horned rabbit to induce the poison effect. Meanwhile the rabbits noticed that their enemy way sitting on top of the tree. Enraged they tried to jump up the tree to attack Chris.

Firing two more poison ball Chris waited for the poison effect to end to shoot four more balls to slowly finish them off. Being clouded by rage the rabbits didn't even realize that their health was dropping down until they died.

'How nice would it be if I could continue sitting on a tree firing poison balls. Sadly there are no more rabbits close to this tree. Maybe I can find some stalks to build a ladder. Afterwards I just need to pull some rabbits over here and climb the ladder as fast as I can.'

After Chris had climbed down the tree, he went into the forest to collect some stalks. To avoid bumping into monsters, he just went to the edge of the forest to look around and returned after collecting enough materials to build a ladder. Only to weave the stalks into something that hardly resembled a ladder. Even though it wasn't a master piece, Chris was filled with joy over his accomplishment.

To be completely sure that his idea did not end in failure, like the ladder ripping landing him in the middle of the enraged rabbits, Chris tried the ladder out several times. Only after being certain that it worked like intended, he started to look around for some horned rabbits.

While walking around and observing the ground, Chris got a really good idea. Instead of firing a poison ball at each rabbit, a shallow hole that would fit all of them and one poison ball should do the job. Walking back to his tree he started to dig out a wide but shallow hole to fill it with poison.

'Digging a hole with only a stone is really annoying, I wish I had a shovel to speed this up.'

After a while a not so beautiful hole was dug by him. To test the feasibility, he shot a poison ball directly in the hole. The hole, even though shallow, wasn't completely filled with poison but probably enough to induce a poison effect on the horned rabbits. Being happy with his work, Chris went out again to finally find some prey.

Not far away, five horned rabbits were relaxing in the shade of a tree. Picking some stones from the ground, Chris approached up to sixty meters of them. Gripping a small stone in his hands, he pulled his arm back, started to run and threw it as far as he could. The stone flew through the air and smashed close to a rabbit into the grass.

The horned rabbit jumped up startled and fixed his eyes directly on Chris. Dumbfounded how good that worked, Chris stood still and stared back. Meaning while the other rabbits got up as well. Suddenly all of them started to sprint in his direction. Getting back to his senses, Chris threw away the other stones and started to dash to his tree.

Looking back, he noticed that the rabbits got closer and closer, catching nearly up to him. Feeling the fear coming over him, he used all of his strength to push just a little bit more speed out of his body. All of a sudden, when there were only about fifteen meters left, a horned rabbit jumped from the side and hit Chris on his arm taking seven points out of his health. Following up another rabbit crashed into Chris body dealing six damage.

As if that was not enough, one of the other rabbits rammed his horn into his legs and dropped him to the ground. Losing eight more health and slamming straight into the grass made Chris despair. Not even feeling the pain, Chris jumped right back up and started to dash like mad. Being only ten meters away from the tree gave Chris some hope.

Not wanting to let him go, the other two rabbits jumped together and hit his legs as well. Due to the force, Chris fell down again, taking fourteen points out of his health. Before he could stand up again, the other tree rabbits attack together and dealt nineteen damage to him. Fearing to die, he started to crawl, jumping up after freeing himself from the rabbits, he found himself only four meters away from the tree.

Being in a complete trance the only thing he could see was the ladder hanging down from the tree. Running with all of his strength, he almost reached the ladder, only some centimeters away from his hands, before he was hit again by a rabbit. The force of the collision brought him directly in front of the ladder and taking away seven more health. Gripping one of the steps, he started to climb up the ladder, only to be hit again by a rabbit.

Quickly climbing up he finally reached the branches where he used to sit on. Shaking all over and being completely smeared with mud, Chris started to laugh like crazy. Wanting to reach him, the rabbits were jumping up and down, trying there hardest to taste blood again. Still shaking and laughing, Chris looked down and summoned a poison ball, shooting it right at the hole to fill it up with poison.

Being enraged, Chris summoned poison ball after poison ball shooting it straight at the rabbits. Only stopping after no mana was left. Calming slowly down, Chris shoot one last poison ball into the hole, while occasionally shooting one at the horned rabbits, waiting for them to die. Finally they died leaving Chris with a cold grin on his lips.
