Don't settle for just being a star
Don't devalue yourself like that.
Instead I suggest you should be infinite like the galaxy that fills up with billions of stars
Because a star can die and it will just dim the light
But if the infinite galaxy that makes up all the stars were to die
Light would no longer exist
And you were never meant to be something as small as a star
When you dying would take the light out of life.
Once you've seen light and color,
You could never live in pitch black.
It would tear you into pieces
And fill you with an agony that completely and utterly shatters you.
You were never meant to be just a star
Because you disappearing would never be small
You were always meant to be infinite
Because you dying
Would mean taking away all the light and color that makes someone's life up.
Don't settle for being a star
You are not meant to aim so low.
When you were born to go far
Be like the infinite galaxy you are and infinitely glow
Because when you're gone
And those that filled up your galaxy are all alone
Your glow should have been so bright
That it left behind light
To guide those you have always watched over from the start
And you would still be able to play the part.
You are not a star
That can be contained in something as small as a jar.
You are infinite
With no limits.
You were born out of stars, possibilities and galaxies.
And while you lived you learned to dance with the fireflies and the pixies.
From the start you were meant for bigger things
With galaxies forming your wings
You were always meant to one day not watch over me as a star
But encompass me as a galaxy of infinite stars.
I will not be saddened by your passing anymore
Because I knew from the start you were meant for much more.
May you continue encompassing me
And never not be
The Infinite you were created to be.
