anxiety II

All that I can do is sit here quietly,

that way the nobody get concerned about me.

Living life in unknown fear,

somehow still gotta get through this year.

morning are the hardest, a continuous loop.

no appetite so I just drink soup.

Taking long hot showers while the water burns my skin

These mental battles can't tell if I'm starting to win.

starting to feel hopeless, tried to turn to the booze.

begun to act reckless, and I started to lose.

my thoughts are on the downward spiral,

the illness in my mind started to turn viral.

I try and I try, but things just get worse,

had to start keeping my pills in my purse.

I struggle a little more every day,

no idea when this pain will go away.
