Prologue

I woke up in an unfamiliar room and as I sat up I found myself looking at the ceiling again but this time three kids were crying on top of me.

why are you crying? - I asked while hugging them in my arms.

Mommy you suddenly collapsed and you weren't waking up!  - Nicollette told me as she looked at me with a runny nose.

Silly, mommy was just low on battery so I had to re-charge. Just like your tablets.  - I explained sitting up as I wiped their faces using the tissue nearby.

Mommy, don't be lowbat again okay?  - Royal says while sniffing

Yes, Mommy promise. - I say pulling my pinky finger out to make a pinky promise to each of them.

Mommy...are you okay now?  - Emberleigh asked hugging my arm

Well, mommy is not yet okay. How about you three get Mommy some food and water so that Mommy will be 100% okay?  - I suggested that they can get out of the room and I could speak with their father privately.

The kids were full of energy as they ran out of the room and I looked at the man standing beside me coldly.

Give me the divorce paper right now. I'll sign it.  - i Immediately said

We just got married for only a couple of hours and you already want to divorce me?  - he said amused as he sat beside me.

The deal was that everything was supposed to be fake. A fake wedding to please the kids and I'll be their fake mother until they turn 9 and your fake wife so that your parents will stop pushing you to random women. And I in return will get paid a million dollars each month, that was, was stated in the contract. - I told him with my hand open waiting for the divorce paper.

As you said, you are getting paid so that makes me your employer and as an employee, you don't have a say in whatever I decide to do.  - he replied with a confident and cold voice. He was looking at me seriously through his mask.

I can only sigh since he had a point. I took the ballpen in my hand and just used it to tie my hair into a bun and looked out the window. 

You give in easily, huh... - he commented

Well it's not like I can do something about it, so why bother being stubborn about it? just give me the paper for the kid's 9th birthday.  - said, I noticed the kids outside the window holding a container of food and I waved at them.

'Just for 3 years Fio...just for 3 years...' I reminded myself.

The kids came back into my room and we ate together like a normally and I'm lucky that these kids are angel unlike their father. I stared at him since its really bothering me that he still has his masked on while eating.

How about taking that mask off?  - i asked since it looks uncomfortable.

Nahh, you'll just get scare of it. - he said

I know your already ugly so remove it already its hard watching you eat with it on.  - i say feeding the kids. I was paying attention to the kids that i didn't notice he already remove his mask.

Feed daddy too.  - Royal told me with a cute pouting face

Okay, okay. Here open wi---  - I was surprised when i saw his face. Everything became a lot worse for me.

Chase Veron....owner of Verocity Empire?  - i blurted out

instead of replying he leans towards me and whispered something that send chills down my spine. and i knew i just sign myself to something both troublesome and dangerous.
