Chapter 35
A finger brushes down his cheek, barely there. “Look at me,” Jamie says.
From the corner of his eye, Thad glances at Jamie. His friend’s blue eyes are hypnotic, staring at him as if he’s the only thing in the whole world that matters. Leaning forward, Jamie rubs a hand across Thad’s stomach. Even through Thad’s shirt, the touch is warm, burning a flame of desire into his stomach and lower, igniting his groin. The hand caresses around Thad’s side until it finds a resting spot on his hip. He’s in Jamie’s arms now, isn’t he? One wrapped around his waist, one behind his shoulders…right where he wants to be.
“Jamie,” Thad breathes, afraid to say more, afraid this might be a joke or, worse, a dream, and he’d wake like he always did, hard and aching for his friend.
