It's been hard trying to raise a little boy on his own, all the intricacies it came with. But Niel, being a single parent, decided to never give up on his son. As a widower and also a father, he knew he would face situations way out of his league

trying to raise the little boy on his own, but he never cared about the problems so long as he saw the boy happy.

Now that his little boy has grown up to become this refined successful young man, he couldn't be more proud of him. The sun was high in the sky when Niels' son arrived at the house he had built for his father. The house was so gigantic it could take more than 30 people to stay there. Which made the house one of the biggest houses in the country.

As usual, he was wearing a suit. Niel smiled when he saw his son walking up to him, looking as handsome as ever, with his hair neatly trimmed and always dressed in a decent way, just how he taught him to be.

"Father" Dracardo greeted his father and his father motioned for him to come to him and have a seat. The Butler brought them two cups of hot tea which Niel insisted on. No matter how many times Dracardo talked to his father about getting him a maid to serve him personally and many other servants for the house apart from the few there, Niel refused the offer. Drake decided to let the matter go because he knew his father is the adamant type.

"Look how big and handsome you grow every day, be careful some girl doesn't trick you, my son, for I know girls very well". he laughed.

"Oh father, I think I'm man enough to know when a girl is trying to trick me". They both burst out into laughter at his comment.

"So tell me, what has my big boy been up to these few days". Niel asked his son.

"Well, it's always work, work, work". he shrugged while sipping his coffee.

Niel leaned on the couch uncomfortably "Please Drake, try to get some rest. If you continue like this you might get sick. At least try to go out with your friends and have some fun". Niel said to his son.

"I will father". He said as he stood up to leave. "I will be going to sleep now, goodnight father". He hugged his father before he left for his room, very much aware of his father's sad gaze on him.

As usual, Drake left home early for the office. Today he had a meeting with one of the biggest companies in the country, the Montenegro Group of Companies. He decided to run through some documents in his office before the meeting, which would be in just a few minutes. A knock sounded on the door and his secretary walked in.

"Drake my boy, the guests are here and have been sent to the boardroom, we should go". Gina, an old woman of over 40 years told him. She had been working for Drake ever since he built his empire at a young age six years ago, and they are still on the run.

"Okay, let's not keep our guests waiting. Shall we?". he headed towards the door to the elevator. The walls were made of transparent glass which was cleaned each morning making it look shiny and clean. As they approached the boardroom, his secretary stepped in front of him holding her hips, like a teenager lost in her tracks.

"Now boy, you better not ruin this chance we have here. This is a very big opportunity for your company". she said pointing her finger at him in the form of a warning, completely neglecting the fact that he was her boss.

"Don't worry, I won't dad". he said playfully before he ran toward the door when he remembered how his dad used to scold him just like that.

"I'm not joking". she called after him while he headed towards the door that led to the boardroom.

"I know". he said then entered the boardroom.

"Good morning". he greeted his guests and shook hands with them as they also replied to his greetings. His eyes fell on a beautiful young lady sitting by Mr Montenegro and wondered who she was to him because of the resemblance he could see between them. She had beautiful brown eyes and hair. She smiled at him and he smiled back still looking into those beautiful eyes of hers.

"Mr Lincoln, I have to say I am very happy you agreed to be partners with my company. I promise you won't regret your decision". Mr Montenegro said with a wide smile.

"I have to say my father was very happy when I told him my decision on our deal and I've also been very impressed by the improvement I hear about your company each day". Drake replied with a smile. Though Drake was the founder of Lincoln's Paradise, his company, he made sure his father had a very high position in the company and partakes in decision-making.

"Well, of course, all that credit goes to my beautiful daughter here". he said and Drake smiled and thought "so she must be his daughter, I now understand their resemblance ".

"I'm Dracardo Lincoln, nice meeting you miss...". he said, stretching his hand and she happily shook it.

"Jessica Montenegro, it's a pleasure meeting you too Mr Lincoln". she said while shaking his hand with a smile.

He wished this moment would never end as he looked into her beautiful brown eyes, he had never seen one like that before, not that he hadn't seen brown eyes before, yes, he had seen brown eyes before but he had never seen one as light as this one before. He has to say that those eyes are extremely beautiful, and mesmerising.

"So, how are our companies going to be planned". Mr Montenegro said, breaking the silence between the two. He was not happy with the interaction between his daughter and about to be a business partner. They went on and on discussing how their companies are going to run as partners. Two big companies in Asia, The Montenegro Group of Companies and Lincoln's Paradise going to become partners was breathtaking.

Millions of people had wished to get a glimpse of what even the headquarters of the two companies looked like in reality. Thousands of dollars are spent by visitors in just an hour at Lincoln's Paradise personal restaurant. The rest of their food left just gets dumped into the bin, ready to be carried away.

When the meeting ended, they exchanged contact this time between themselves and not their assistants.

In his office, he kept on thinking about Jessica. She was such a piece of beauty he couldn't forget about how beautiful those eyes were, and her lips, so pink and much cuter. He kept on thinking until he heard his name.

"Drake, what are you thinking so much about? Parties?". his friend Eduardo asked with a sheepish look on his face. Drake growled at him.

"Mind your own business Eduardo, it's just the girl that came with Mr Montenegro that has kept me like this". he said.

"Now, now tell me I didn't hear that right". Eduardo teased him.

"Yeah, right". Drake replied "anyway let's get back to work, we have a lot to do".. he said. They turned their attention back to the piled documents in the office, reading, and flipping through the pages before signing them.
