51. Two Witches

RuQian reached home and quickly went for her jog. During her jog she remembered that she still hadn't viewed the video of the hack that had happened.

After finishing up with the jog and her shower she sat down in front of her computer and played the video recording.

It was weird, cause the hacker just snooped through all files that were stored. Nothing was tampered with.

The hacker was in and out in under two minutes. His skills were extremely outstanding which she could make out.

Then RuQian checked her mail, that she did daily to see if there was any response and to her surprise there was one.

He was ready to take up her job! RuQian was very excited with this.

A few days back RuQian had sent a mail to Hacker X and wanted him to take up a job from her. She hadn't given him any details as to what the job might entail but she had explained any amount he wanted would be paid.

Hacker X took up anonymous jobs and a mail address of his was circulating in the dark web. RuQian had taken this opportunity to contact him and see if he would respond.

RuQian did not know whether he would accept the job after finding out what it was.

He was to be her teacher and help her learn everything about computing. People who were well versed, like Hacker X, never showed their face or identity.

They were always present in the dark, that was their best advantage. And Hacker X was actually very good as he had never been caught.

RuQian wanted to learn from the best and if he were to teach her there was a high possibility that she would find out his identity, so RuQian was not sure whether he would accept this job.

Someone who wanted to hide his identity so bad would not like doing something like this and given how famous he was, RuQian figured he was not short of money.

It was said that Hacker X never asked for money as payment when doing a job. Once as payment he had taken the copyright of an application.

Another time, he had taken ten dollars as the payment. The mysterious man was unreadable. No one had been able to understand the meaning of his actions.

So if someone was not asking for heaps of money for doing the most difficult jobs, he was not in need of money and it also showed he might have tons of it.

These were clearly the jobs he liked doing. So the chances of hacker X accepting her job offer would be negligible to null.

He did illegal stuff but no one had been able to pin it on him. Usually hackers liked leaving their signature behind, so they could have the achievement in their name.

But hacker X was different, he did have a signature but he never left it on any illegal stuff he worked on.

Some fanatics knew his traits and had been able to link some illegal work to him but as there was no proof, it was not confirmed.

RuQian knew it would be an impossible task to become as great as Hacker X but she still wanted to try.

RuQian typed in her reply mail, she had to convince this legend somehow, so he could train her.

Hopefully he would accept her request but even she herself knew that this was a difficult task. She wanted to learn from someone who had never even shown himself before.

RuQian sent the mail after much deliberation. She was confident in herself, she had changed the perspective of many businessmen due to her negotiation skills.

Many a times she had done so through mails, so this was nothing new to her. RuQian had her fingers crossed, hoping he would accept her request.

RuQian went down to have her dinner. She had to talk to her grandfather about the party.

The next day RuQian was feeling lazy but she could not stop doing the morning jog. She dragged herself to school afterwards.

It was a really boring day but Lan Xie and Amy were extremely excited to go shopping after school, RuQian had actually planned to deny to go shop that day, seeing the two excited kids, she did not have the heart to say deny them.

But she should have. Because neither of the three expected to see the two witches there!
