13. Smart Lan Xie

Lan Xie just calmly stared at the dog who was barking. She was fine when someone cursed at her but she could never tolerate it if they insulted Qian Qian. For her RuQian was the closest person who had always taken her side and stood by her when even her parents opposed her to do something. Her parents had always wanted her to manage the company, become a businesswoman, build connections. That was not her dream though. RuQian was the only one who had taken her side, she had seen Qian Qian at her lowest point when she lost two of her most beloved family members but RuQian still stayed strong because she did not want Lan Xie to worry. RuQian had thought to spare her friend pain even when she was the one that was facing the most pain.

So for Lan Xie crossing RuQian was her bottom line. Nobody was allowed to do that. She would destroy anyone who hurt her dear friend.

Lan Xie started planning in her mind about how she wanted to deal with this barking dog. She just heard that this dog's father was a worker under her father but for Lan Xie this felt like a very small punishment. Lan Xie wanted to stomp down on Wan Wan's pride but seeing as she was still in school, Lan Xie would not be able to hurt Wan Wan to her worst. That meant she had to wait it out. She was not the most patient person but if she wanted to destroy someone completely she would have to wait it out.

RuQian could see the wheels turning in Lan Xie's head. 'She's not bad. I guess she will do some damage after all.'

"I don't talk to dogs." Lan Xie sauntered over to RuQian and sat down beside her. Everyone in the class snickered and giggled when they heard Lan Xie.

Wan Wan started fuming. RuQian thought, if she gets a little more angry smoke would come out of her ears. Thinking so RuQian giggled slightly. Wan Wan seeing that everyone was laughing at her became even more angry.

"A slut like you would not know how to talk. Hmph just because you have a sugar daddy it does not mean you can talk to me like this. Your sugar daddy will not help you out every time."

"I don't need a sugar daddy, I am enough to deal with your whole family."

"Hah! You? You must just be a lowly life. My daddy can take care of you with just a snap of his fingers. My daddy owns the Xie pharmaceuticals." The whole classroom snickered when they heard this. That was the company father Lan had started after Lan Xie was born to gift it to her after she came of age and here this girl was spouting nonsense that her father was the owner? He was just managing it on behalf of Lan Xie and here Wan Wan had the guts to say something like this directly to the owner's face? How pathetic.

Lan Xie gave a smirk, her eyes filled with mirth as she glanced at Wan Wan as if she was bug in her way and retorted, "Do you even know whom that company was named after?" But Wan Wan was just an ignorant fool who did not understand the meaning behind those words.

"It is my father's company so it was named after him. You don't even know these kinds of things. How dare you talk back to me?"

That was when Lan Xie decided not to let this pest go. She was going to crush this bug properly so that she could not rise up again. Just taking care of this pest would not be fun so she thought of a different plan that would meet the desired effect. She would let Wan Wan rise as higher as possible and would let her climb the tallest building and then she would push her down. That was what would shatter her.

She sent a message to her father quickly to promote Wan Wan's father to the main branch and to let him grow in that position. She knew her father would want to know why she was doing this and she was going to truthfully tell him everything. Her father always wanted her to grow up and deal with any situations so that people in the elite circle would know not to mess with her. So her father would definitely approve of her choice.

She could hide her intentions from her father but she did not want to put her father's company in jeopardy by hiding this kind of an important information from him. If Wan Wan's father was going to be removed later on, her father could be prepared for it beforehand.

She was going to show each and every person how smart she could be when it was needed!
