When the shifter was finally gone, David looked up to the sky and let his thoughts wander. It wasn't like he'd not thought of how unfair Arthur's life was.
He'd begun to think about it more and more as he spent time as Arthur's retainer.
The way Miranda spoke to him every time they met made him realise how much hate the second prince was forced to endure… and yet when he turned to Arthur, there wasn't a smear of that negative energy on him.
None of it seemed to bother him.
The second prince wasn't stupid though. So he had to at least feel something, right?
David shook his head and buried his face in his hands.
He still had a lot to think about before he concluded the matter. He had his worries as well.
'To accept Arthur… It's like committing treason.'
...…..
Claw had filled Arthur's head with an interesting set of theories and instructions on what he was supposed to do to conquer the second step of Flame Core Concealment.
