Battling a Drakon
The afternoon before…
Sullivan stood on a thick branch high up in a tree, watching a group of four hunters fighting an overgrown ginger fox with three fluffy tails.
This race of creatures bore the power to produce lightning if they rubbed their tails against each other, however, the more the number of tails, the greater the magnitude of charge it was capable of releasing.
So much so that full-grown nine-tailed foxes were considered walking calamities capable of wielding the power of a ten-mile radius lightning storm and commanding it at will.
As per the safety precautions put forth for the safe use of the Time Dilation Chamber, the students were only allowed to fight this creature at a maximum of three tails.
Lightning aside, the tailed foxes were fast and insanely agile, making them nearly impossible to hit and frustrating simultaneously.
