Weird Vision

"It is an honor to have you here with us Zahra." Kissa bowed slightly and all Zahra did was roll her eyes then eyed Cairo.

"Who is that fellow?" Zahra asked and he immediately bowed his head. "He has some guts…"

"He is my guard Zahra. I'll advise you to stay away from him." Kissa gave a clear warning, making Asim clear his throat.

"Kissa, be nice to her this once and don't try to cause trouble…"

"I don't know what you see in her brother." Zahra wasked between Asim and Kissa gently. "She clearly has what every other woman has. I prefer your other concubines than…" Zahra pointed her fan at Kissa. "Her."

"That's alright Zahra. Why are you here anyways?" Asim raised his brows and Zahra looked at him with disbelief.

"It is the time of the year I don't expect you to forget brother. In two days time, we'll be having offerings." Zahra reminded him and he looked at Kissa.

Kissa had her head bowed knowing he was thinking why she didn't tell him about it.

"She is so unreliable." Zahra sighed before waving at her maids.

"That's enough. We had dinner already Zahra. I hope you don't mind having yourse alone." Asim asked and Zahra shook her head.

"I'll like to have my dinner with Kissa, even if she had hers already. I would be taking my leave to my quarters brother. See you tomorrow." Zahra bowed gently before walking away, fluttering her peacock fan.

"You would be visiting the temple with Zahra tomorrow, I hope you know that." Asim said to her before walking away.

Kissa didn't say a word, she just turned towards Zahra's quarters to listen to whatever the princess had to say.

By the time Kissa arrived at Zahra's quarters, Zahra had settled down and the maids were serving her dinner already.

"Do take your seat." Zahra gestured at the seat opposite her and Kissa gently settled on it.

The maid nearby poured a cup of tea but she just looked down at it without touching.

"Ohh come on, you and I know you can't be poisoned without you knowing." Zahra chuckled.

Kissa didn't say a word still, she just looked at her and despite not seeing Kissa's face, Zahra could tell what she was requesting.

"So Kissa, don't think I'm just here because I'm here. You know pretty well that I won't hide my agenda. I'll tell you straight if we have a problem." Zahra said before slamming her spoon on the table

"And right now, I will keep on telling you little brat to take your charm off my brother." Zahra's raised her voice making Kissa wince.

"And also I won't hide from you, with the way you spoke about your guard, I'm pretty sure you're up to something with him." Zahra tapped her long nails on the table.

Kissa looked down at the cup of tea and raised her hand to pick it but Zahra's words made her stop.

"I am keeping an eye on you Kissa. If you try anything funny with him, I won't hesitate having my brother kill you." Zahra threatened but Kissa looked unfazed.

Kissa lifted the cup to drink but as she raised it to her lips, the eye of Horus and eye of Ra around her eyes suddenly shone and it fell of her hand, and she laid down on her back.

Zahra didn't register anything that just happened before Kissa sat back up, groaning.

"I'll be retiring for the night. Welcome back home." Kissa stood up.and bowed before walking out of the room.

When she got outside the quarters where Sabola and Cairo was waiting, she leaned on the nearby wall. They quickly rushed to her before she could fall to the ground.

"Lady Kissa, are you okay?" Sabola asked and Kissa nodded before using her as support to stand. "You're too weak to walk my lady."

"Pardon me but I'll have to carry her." Cairo said to Sabola who looked at him in shock before looking at Kissa who nodded in approval.

Cairo placed one of his hands behind her legs and the other, her shoulders before lifting her up. Strangely, Kissa felt her muscles relax and she immediately wanted to go to sleep in his arms.

Kissa shook her head to get the thought of sleeping out of her head.

Sabola helped them clear their way back to her quarters. As Cairo stepped through the door with her still in his arms, the eye of Horus and eye of Ra shone again.

The same scene of Cairo carrying her past the door but the surroundings did not seem like her room. Before she could register anything, see snapped out of it as Cairo placed her on her bed.

Kissa looked around her room to compare the little details she could register from the vision but none match any of the details in her room.

"That's weird."
