PAKO'S POV:~

When the Birdman said that one of us will go to birdplanet, I thought about Perman. If he went there, just how will I live without him?

Birdman said that he'll install a device in our perman sets which will measure how hardworking we are, and that the most hardworking perman will go to birdplanet.

"You can take whichever you want from Payan or Wooby. But, please don't take Mitsuo from me." I told Birdman directly.

"I cannot accept this request of yours. You can decide whether you want to go or not, but you cannot decide whether others would go or not."

"Birdman I can't live without him." Maine unhe bataya ki mai perman ko kitna chahti hun.

"Anyone can live without anyone, you'll get used to it. Also, it's not cleared if he'll be chosen right?"

I'll never be able to persuade Birdman.

"Hey Birdman, what'll happen if I win & I refused to go there?"

"The Perman who'll come in second place will go."

"If I win, can I choose the one who'll go? If I won, I'll just give this privilege to anyone. Right?"

"No you can't-"

"Whyyyyyy?"

"If it were like this, the perman selection could've easily got manipulated." What does he mean by manipulated?

"Sorry I didn't understand."

"All you need to understand right now is that the perman who'll get selected will go there."

"Alright, so birdman-" I tried to argue more but

"I'll have to go somewhere. Also, I think I gave you enough of my time. So bye bye." He disappeared.

Now I can do 2 things to keep perman from going, the first thing I can do is that I can encourage Payan and Wooby

And the second is, i'll show my true identity to mitsuo.

I told about my conversation with Birdman to Payan and Wooby, they assured me that they'll do their best to get selected.

They did their best. I was sure that one of them will get selected, but perman no.1 still won.

"I can't believe this." There were only Birdman and me

"Believe it or not, this is the true result."

"You're lying. I've monitored them myself. Payan and Wooby were working much harder than Mitsuo." I said

"Is that so, but the device is saying otherwise."

"The device is lying, or probably you're the one who's lying!" I pointed my finger at birdman.

"Amazing pako, I'm glad I chose you as a perman. You're the smartest of all of them."

So I was right.

"What do you mean?"

"In simple words, what the machine measured isn't hardwork, but goodwill, and Perman no.1 is better than any of you in that."

"Why didn't you tell me this sooner?"

"Do you think the selection would have been fair if I had told you this sooner? Well, now let me go."

"Alright." Birdman disappeared.

Now I have only one choice left. But rather than writing it, I just left a letter in his room in which I confessed that I love him and that I am sumire hoshino.

I dunno if he read it or not, he readied to go with Birdman. All 5 of us were present. Me, Payan and Wooby said our final goodbye to Mitsuo.

Just after they disappeared, they appeared again. Is it a technical default?

The UFOs opened. Perman came out of his UFO.

"So Permans, looks like Perman no.1 doesn't want to go to birdplanet right now" Birdman said.

Of course we didn't understand

"But Birdman you just disappeared a sec ago, and you came back again." It was me who said this.

"Yeah, and how can you say that Perman doesn't want to go to there?"

"Wikkey wikkey"

We started bombarding him with questions.

"Lemme explain. When we move at very fast velocity the flow of time changes for us, which would lead to many problems. In order for that to not happen, there is a mechanism in these UFOs which stops the flow of time for us when we move at very high velocity."

"Kwa Kwa Kwa"

I and payan understand it, but looks like wooby have some problems with that.

"Well, I can't do anything about that."

"So Perman, why don't you want to go to birdplanet?" I asked him.

I wonder if he changed his plan because of the love letter.

"I think there are many things I haven to do before going to birdplanet, which is why I decided to go to birdplanet next month."

So he didn't read it. Should I ask about the letter?

"By the way Perman, I think I sent you a letter. did you get it?"

"Oh this letter?" As soon as he took the letter out of his pocket, I snatched it.

"Hey, give that back."

"Sorry but I'm not giving it to you." I told him.

Of course I will tell him that I am miss sumire and how much I love him but I still have one month to worry about that.

He tried to take it back by force but Iwas much stronger than him so I didn't returned it to him. Being tired, he had to admit defeat.

After that, he asked for the perfect copy robot from Birdman and further said that he want to improve which is why he want the perfect copy robot to be his role model.

After pondering for a moment, Birdman said

"Alright Perman, take it, but quickly go to your house and bring your copy robot back. Also, you have to say a command to disable his permanent nose button. 'Permanent nose button turn off' Code-4444' is the command"

Birdman gave the perfect copy robot to Perman. Perman started flying towards his home.
