Chapter Eleven life in Florida

The driver took them to a large house that almost looks like a castle, the building was large and beautiful, it can contain a lot of people if it has to, it was decorated with different types of chandeliers hanging on the roof, picture frames hanging on the walls, faucets, lamb shades and so many more. immediately after they arrived, two servants walked up to them with a surprised look " welcome sir, how was your journey? "

" fine" Donald answered shortly

"Please grant us the permission to show your guest to her room" Donald almost snorted at that word, they just asked him a question that he hasn't finished answering yet, and yet again, they just called his wife a guest " she is not my guest, she is my wife and she's sleeping in the same room with me". the two female servants looked at each other with shock before looking at Donald " oh, sorry sir, we didn't know that she is yours, you know, you have never brought a female friend home before, ", Kelly furrowed her brows at that comment, from the very first sight at those servants she knew that they were trouble

" and what does that supposed to mean ?" Kelly ripostes with anger " is that how guys treat my husband here? , disrespecting him anyhow? "

" no ma, you know, it was a surprise to us to see sir Donald with a female friend..... " the first servant tried to explain but was given a stern look by Donald that shut her mouth immediately, the second servant not noticing the situation decided to speak out her mind " ma are you the stripper ?"

" get out of my face now !!" Kelly yelled with anger making Donald to sent those annoying servants away " both of you out !" then he looked at his wife "Kelly please calm down, am sorry...". Donald tried to apologize but she raised one of her hands to stop him from saying further " is not your fault Donald is my choice to be here so I have to face the consequences alone". Donald signed resignedly " okay if you say so, but I will always stand by you in any way that you go, we are one in this ".

As they were about to go inside their room, they saw Miriam coming toward them at a fast pace. when she reaches where they were, she stopped and folded her arms, her face full of loathing " so this is true, you finally found a wife but let me tell you this ". she walks closer to Donald " you can't win this battle with a pretended marriage, my brother is the winner and the right person for our father's successor, so don't try to give yourself hope " immediately she ended her speech, Kelly burst out laughing, she laughed so hard that Miriam was looking at her with confusion " oh, this is so funny, what's that your name again ?" she asked with ridicule but Miriam scoffed with rage in her heart, she was surprised to see a nobody talking to her in such a manner, nobody has ever tried to challenge her before " oh brother Donald, I can see you brought a sassy one over here, well" she started walking away " let's see how her stay here will go " she threaten and left.

immediately they went inside their room, Kelly flares-up with anger " is that how they treat you here ?, with no respect, how can you allow such a thing ?, don't you realize that you are the firstborn and this is your freaking fucking rites man, why are you such a sissy ?" . Donald signed exasperatedly at Kelly's statement, he has tried in so many ways to fight back but nobody was there to help him. " what do you me to do huh ?, I have no one to back me up, my mother died when giving birth to me and my father doesn't even take a look at his family to see how they are doing, what else do you expect me to do ?"

" Well, if you can't do anything about this, I will do it myself," she said in a determined tone and walks towards the bed " am tired, I need to take a rest ". Donald shakes his head in fear because he knows what type of trouble Kelly is about to get herself into " please be careful" he whispered.

later in the day, they were informed that they will be having a family dinner that night so everyone has to prepare for it. Donald checked the time and it seems like they had a little time left, so they decided to use the little time left to tour around Florida a little. Donald took her to some places for sightseeing like the zoo, the best hotel in Florida, museums, the best Mall, and a boutique to get her some clothes because all the clothes she had in her bag will not be accepted by his family members and so many other places.

when they came back from their tour, those annoying servants of before, came again to help them carry their load but Kelly stopped them from doing so

" Please ma this is our job, we can let you carry those stuff" the first servant complained and the other servant nodded her head in support. Kelly narrowed her eyes at them " I don't know the reason you guys don't wanna let me carry my stuff, but all you guys need to know is that am not used to all these servant stuff, I can carry my load myself ". the servants seeing that she is refusing ir request knelt to beg her " please if you carry those stuff myself, we will lose our jobs ". Kelly chuckled at their explanation and movement " I don't what you guys are up to, but don't worry, you won't lose your jobs, Donald is here to help you ".

" Sir Donald won't help us, he doesn't have a say in this house "

Kelly coughed with embarrassment, she blinked many times before concentrating back on the matter, well that's the worst insult she has ever heard " oh " she exclaimed with an imprecise expression because she doesn't know whether to be mad over what the servants said or to laugh over it. " is that so ?" she asked and they servants nodded their head repeatedly " okay, you can carry the packages but am taking my clothes with me" she highlighted and started walking inside the house with the bag her new clothes were in. were servants watch her with a frown on their faces as she enters the house " if you think we work for you Kelly, you have another thing coming " the first servant muttered and the other servant smiled mischievously.

Kelly waited at the door for her things to be brought to her by the servant but no sign of them, she waited and waited for them until she couldn't wait any longer and went in search of them. she looked everywhere around the house but couldn't find them and the house was too big for her to start roaming around to look for them, she might get lost if she was to go more further, so she decided to take a little rest, she looked by the side and saw a seat near the flower vase beside the window, so she went there to have her rest. As she was taking her rest there, she heard the servant's voice as they giggled among themselves while coming her way.

" I can't believe that there's nothing reasonable in those bags, that bag she took In by herself was the bag the main thing was in and she knows the reason she took it in herself "

" I wonder why Donald bought her those clothes, maybe she doesn't have any "

" or maybe her clothes won't be accepted here " the first servant quickly added, " you know, as a stripper, all the clothes she was to have won't cover her body for her to attract customers ". Kelly squirted her eyes at hearing the statement of those servants, she wondered how they come to know about the clothes in her bag, although most of the things they said were true that didn't warrant them to mock her like that. she stayed still on her seat to hear everything the servants saying until she could no longer bear the cutting remarks those servants are saying about her, with anger she stood up from her seat " hey both of you stop there" . the servants wanted to run away at hearing her voice but the fear in them couldn't let them

"Where are my goods ?"

" in .....in.....in" the first servant stammered making Kelly to snapped at her impatiently " in were !! ?"

" madam Karen took it "

" why ?"

" We don't know, she just asked us to bring it to her " Kelly hissed and Left them, well they started it first. she told Donald about it and he stood up immediately to go meet his stepmother for her to explain the reason she took the things he bought for his wife but she stopped him from doing so.

" Donald doesn't worry, I think I have a few tricks against my sleeves".
