Chapter 21

I sat up to a knock on my door; I threw my hair back "I had a feeling you'd be over." He came into the room "What is going on in your head?" I grabbed the baby monitor and left the room, he followed me to the backyard.

I sat down at the table "Do it for her. You know we shouldn't be together. Let alone raising a child." He sat beside me "I don't know how you are able to make this decision after spending almost 5 months with that precious girl we were given after many doctors said it was impossible."

I smirked "She will likely be the only one I have with anybody. The fact I carried and nurtured her then went through excruciating pain with no medicine. Ruined my body. And you want to sit here and tell me no to giving her a deserving life."
