Chapter 28
"Are you perhaps bipolar?" Marcus asked the old man.
"HAHA! Why would you say such a thing?" Tenjin said while laughing jolly. Just previously the old man had been serious all the time and even rejected his entry but now he was like any other jolly old man.
"Previously you've been all like "you can't enter because you're greek!". But now you seem all cool." Marcus said as he relaxed a little bit but by no means did he let down his guard.
"Well you could consider it part of the interview, a test per say,"
"But you don't need to worry you are already accepted," Tenjin the old man said with a smile.
"Yehey!" Yuki screamed happily and Harumi smiled.
Taku smiled even larger and shook Marcus's hands.
"We'll be schoolmates soon!" He said profusely shaking Marcus's hands.
Harumi walked towards him and said:
"Congratulations Marcus." She said and smiled beautifully.
"Thank you," Marcus replied.
"So now, that was settled, excuse me, I still need to get some paperworks done," Tenjin said, the three nodded along with Marcus and the old man walked back into his room.
There were still traces of burns all around his office. He waved his hands releasing a wave of divine energy to repair the room but the room remained the same.
"I knew it, a primordial force," He muttered. Then he snapped his finger and immediately after his clothes changed into a more formal robe. After checking his clothes if it was appropriate the old man once again snapped his finger and disappeared inside his office.

Palace of Storm and Thunder.
The place where one of the three Bright Gods resides, Susanoo. Tenjin appeared in the door gates of the magnificent palace and sucked his breath at the sight of it.
'No matter how many times I see it, it still looked as powerful as ever,' He thought.
The palace resembled that of a giant japanese castle, it was sat atop of a stormy cloud, floating hundred of meters away from the ground. He sucked in a deep breath and bowed deeply before knocking on the gates.
"Susanoo-sama." He waited patiently for a response. Soon after a second the palace gate opened revealing the breathtaking interior of the Palace.
"You may enter." A booming and thunderous voice resounded throughout the entire place. As if the voice came from all direction spoken at the same time.
"Thank you Susanoo-sama, pardon my intrusion." He replied and got up from his bow slowly trotting inside the gates.
Once he entered the palace the gate shut closed, he was startled but he kept on walking until he finally arrived at the throne room.
Then he saw it. A powerful presence crushed him down, it was a regal and thunderous aura. An aura befitting only those that sits at the top of the Japanese Pantheon.
"Tenjin." The figure on the throne said. He was about middle age with finely trimmed bear, loose kimono and blue spiky hair with an intimidating sword hung up behind him.
"I greet Susanoo-sama! One of the Bright Three!" Tenjin prostrated and smashed his head into the ground.
"You may lift your head." Susanoo said in deep voice and Tenjin complied.
"I heard your calling and so I came here milord." Tenjin said.
"That's right, I called you here to discuss the boy Marcus." Susanoo intoned.
"The Greek milord?"
"That's right."
"If I may be so rude, why?" Tenjin asked.
After a brief pause Susanoo replied.
"Because we are in need of him, we need him to tip the scale of war into our side, he is the missing piece for us to wage holy war against the western," Susanoo said and thunder cackled behind him.
When Tenjin heard this he nodded in understanding. If there has been a wish that the Japanese Pantheon have always wanted then it would be revenge against the westerns. The incident of Nagasaki and Hiroshima still bore deep in their hearts and only the blood of the Olympians would clench their desire.
"I want you to take care of him with all that you can, after he got accustomed in here I'll talk to him myself and take him as my apprentice," Susanoo said and ended the conversation there, suddenly Tenjin found himself back in his office.
Tenjin looked at the documents on his table with determination and immediately grabbed it along with his seal, then with a tap he sealed it.
On the paper it said:
Admission of Marcus Phase: Approved.

Days passed quickly. The end of summer came nearing as it blew its last breeze it was finally time for School.
"What a shame that we're not in the same year," Harumi said to Marcus sadly. She, Yuki and Taku were all Sixth Year this school year while Marcus is First year. There's a big gap between them but still she was happy that even though they were not in the same class they would still see each other regularly since they are both in the same academy.
Marcus put his hands on Harumi's shoulder patted it and smiled.
"Yeah it's really a shame but I'm pretty sure we'll see each other often,"
Feeling the hand on her shoulder Harumi blushed but she didn't let anyone see it.
Marcus removed his hands from her and looked at Taku and Yuki, feeling Marcus's hands get removed from her shoulder Harumi can't help but feel disappointed. But she hid her discontent. Taku then placed his arms around hers and Yuki's shoulder as he usually does, but strangely instead of feeling happy like back then she felt a little… unsatisfied?
"Thank you guys once again for giving me a place to sleep this summer," Marcus said gratefully to the three of them, bringing her out of her stupor.
Since in this academy they will be given a dorm to live in, he didn't need to sleep in their place anymore. So basically he's like moving out
"No need to thank us, it's a small thing compared to you saving our lives," Taku spoke with a friendly and grateful smile.
"Yeah! I would even let you pet me if you want!" Tuki interjected and said energetically.
Marcus looked at her incredulously, since Yuki is from the Neko clan she tends to behave catlike. And this was one of her quips.
"Uhuh as much as I would want to accept that offer I need to go,"
"I'm gonna head to my class, see you guys soon," Marcus said to the three of them before walking away and going to his classroom.
After a few minutes of walking he finally arrived at his destination.
Class 1, Year 1.
With a deep breath Marcus entered the room. Beginning a new chapter in his life.

*don't worry the academy arc will only be short one*
