Long Feng glanced at the puddle of blood before turning to Hua Liuli and said,
"Tsk! Tsk! Did you had to show off? With your strength, you didn't had to use your dao concept. You could have easily crushed the entire herd and save them the painful death"
Hua Liuli shrugged with a grin. Then her expression turned serious.
"We should gather the dark earth lizard's monster cores and leave. Other beasts will be attracted to this place by the smell of the blood. Unless you want to fight an endless horde of beasts, then we should change locations." she said.
Long Feng understood the others nodded.
"There is one little problem. The monster cores are in the lizard's blood which is supposedly deadly. How exactly do we pick them up?" Long Feng asked.
A monster core was like the dantian of a human martial cultivator. All the energy accumulated throughout the lifetime of a beast was stored within it. It could be sold for a lot of Yin and Yang crystals based on the strength of the beast when it was alive.

"If that is the case, we just need to kill a few hundred beasts within the nest few days to reach the top thousand." Hua Liuli said.
"if we stay together, it'll take a long time to do so." Long Feng frowned.
"we split up then?" Yan Jian asked.
Before Long Feng could reply, Hua Liuli ran over to his side and held his arm.
"I'm staying with big brother Long!" she declared.

Two days later, two figures suddenly landed on a tree branch while gazing at the several dozen beasts below.
These two figures were Long Feng and Hua Liuli who had previously dispersed her appearance changing formation.
"If we kill a hundred more beasts at the Yin level, we should reach the thousand ranking." Long Feng spoke up.
